Loved our stay at Oceanscape! It was a little hard to find at
first but, found it easier to input the GPS coordinates than to use
the address in maps. Linda communicated fast and effectively
whenever we needed anything.

holiday after a very difficult year of relocating in the UK and
moving house etc. It was very peaceful with great mountain views
just what we needed. There is one lovely local bar opposite the
villa and a 15 minute walk to the local restaurant, as we like
walking that was great for us. It was exactly the quiet getaway
that we needed and enables you to see the local culture. A car is
essential for getting around outside of the local area and we had
hired one at the Airport. We had a few lovely days out at Porto
Moniz, Funchal is a must see the Botancial Gardens, and the cable
car journey and we drove the mountain route there which was great.
We loved Monte Palace too and had a lovely meal at the Restaurant
there nearest the Monte Palace where they do the toboggan runs.
Calheta Beach is also lovely for a day out.

Our recent stay at this exquisite villa was an absolute dream.

My two adult sons and I had a very nice stay in the
house; on the one hand it was very quiet and we had plenty of
space, on the other hand the location is ideal for excursions.
Especially the swimming pool we liked very much after the sometimes
strenuous hikes and due to the magnificent view of the Atlantic,
you always felt on vacation, even if you were "only" sitting "on
the terrace or on the balcony.

Really nice, clean and quiet place. Beautiful villa with
amazing views. Car is essential, villa is located a bit far from
any attractions but you will find a local shop with walking
distance. We had an amazing time.

Loved the fact that the villa was quite secluded with no other
properties too close by. The view from the balcony was spectacular,
just breathtaking. Everything in the house was clean and pristine.
