Absolutely loved our stay! Most beautiful view over looking the beach from a cliff. Apartment was so spacious, had everything you need! Great communication with the host. Definitely need a car to access it, would say it is far away from the main attractions however absolutely worth it for the view and if you don't mind driving a bit extra!

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft in einer ruhigen Lage. Die Unterkunft war sauber und in einem top Zustand. Die Kommunikation vor Ort lief problemlos über Handy. Wir sind rundum zufrieden und würden immer wieder kommen. Zu Fuß sind keine Restaurants oder Supermärkte zu erreichen. Man ist auf einen Mietwagen angewiesen. Der Pool hat uns am besten gefallen. Wir würden wieder kommen!

Great place to stay. The views are amazing. Two small complaints. Firstly, there was quite a strong smell in the unit. At first we thought it was cleaning supplies. However, we think one of the stray cats may have sprayed in or around the unit. Secondly, bring shampoo. There was soap and shower gel, but no shampoo. Apart from these two minor inconveniences, the place is beautiful and made a great base for four nights.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der Sunset Cliff Villa vom 19. bis 23. Februar. Die Aussicht war wie ein Traum - jeden Tag ein neues Postkartenmotiv. Das Haus ist modern, sehr sauber und perfekt ausgestattet. Alles war genauso, wie man es sich für einen erholsamen Urlaub wünscht. Wir konnten sogar einmal im Pool schwimmen. Das Wasser war etwas frisch, aber das Erlebnis war trotzdem großartig. Vielen Dank für die tolle Gastfreundschaft und diese unvergessliche Unterkunft!

We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed every moment. The place was exactly as described - clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. Sehr hochwertige, gut gepflegte kleine Anlage in top Aussichtslage. Ruhig und für ein Ferienhaus absolut top ausgestattet, sogar ein Wäschetrockner war vorhanden. Alles sehr sauber und in gutem Zustand. Einfacher Check-In, gute Kommunikation, sehr erholsame Tage. Der Pool sieht spektakulär aus, ist aber leider sehr kalt.

Een fantastische plek om te verblijven. Na een paar dagen in Funchal te zijn gebleven was het voor ons een verademing en een oase van rust om in één van deze villa's te verblijven. Met z'n tweeën hadden we echt ruimte zat, en de woning is van alles voorzien. De (gedeelde) infinity pool is echt fantastisch, wat een uitzicht vanuit het zwembad en prachtig met de zonsondergang die je er elke avond kan zien. Iedereen die op zoek is naar een rustige plek kan ik deze plek absoluut aanbevelen. Het zijn een paar villa's bij elkaar maar doordat de tuintjes goed beschut zijn heb je ontzettend veel privé en veel ruimte voor jezelf.

When I saw the pictures, I didn't think this place could be real. When we got there, I realized the property is actually even more beautiful than the pictures. Everything is very new and very good quality.

Beautiful location, good reception and lovely swimming pool. Everything is fine. Defective window lock was repaired immediately. Very good base for explorations/walks. Easy to find, quiet location.

The lodging has very few electrical outlets. 1 kitchen towel and 1 dishcloth, 1 small hand towel and 1 large hand towel + 1 bath towel per person is quite a lot for a week. But everything else makes up for a lot!

Nous venons de séjourner quelques jours dans le logement Our Madeira. La première chose à signaler c'est l'extrême gentillesse et l'aide apportée à la résolution de quelques soucis non imputable au logement qui nous sont arrivés. Diana a été parfaite et à tout mis en œuvre pour nous faciliter les choses avec une très grade réactivité. Concernant le logement; il est conforme aux différentes descriptions avec 2 terrasses avec vue sur l'océan magnifique. Nous ne pouvons évaluer la cuisine car un gros avantage du logement c'est la présence de restaurants tout autour du logement. Le logement est proche d'un axe routier important qui permet la visite de l'ile de manière très rapide. Très vraisemblablement nous logerions chez Diana en cas de nouvelle visite sur l'ile.

Wir waren absolut begeistert von der Unterkunft! Besonders die Größe hat uns sehr gut gefallen sowie der Poolbereich mit seinem spektakulären Ausblick auf die Küste und das Meer. In der Wohnung selbst hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Vor dem Eingang zur Wohnung gab es auch noch einen eigene kleine Gartenfläche mit Sonnenliegen, Grill und einer Sitzgarnitur, die sich perfekt zum entspannten Frühstück eignet. Wir können die Unterkunft wirklich nur jedem empfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Everything was perfect. The location, the incredible view, the daily sunsets. The house is well equipped, the washer + dryer is a big plus when you hike every day. Absolute quiet. This is a stunning location in an incredibly beautiful and peaceful place. One of my all-time favorite places I've been. The beds were a little firm, but other than that, this is an exceptional place.

Superbe logement moderne en hauteur avec une vue imprenable sur l'océan ! Nous avons vraiment apprécié nos 3 jours sur place. Les instructions d'accès autonome au logement nous ont été envoyé par l'hôte, une vidéo très claire, nous évitant toute confusion lors du check-in. Le gros plus est bien évidement la superbe piscine avec une vue imprenable de jour comme de nuit sur l'océan et la petite ville de Paul do Mar. Des commerces et restaurants se trouvent à proximité du logement (en prenant la voiture). Des places de parking sont disponible pour vous garer facilement devant la villa. Je recommande sans hésitation ce logement aux futurs voyageurs !

Die Unterkunft Sunset Cliff Villas ist wunderschön am Hang gelegen. Die Villa ist großzügig und super eingerichtet. Wir hatten alles, was wir gebraucht haben - sogar ein paar Basics für die Küche. Am meisten haben wir den wunderschönen Pool mit Blick auf den Atlantik genossen. Sollten wir wieder nach Madeira kommen - wir würden wieder hier übernachten.

+ The Villa was amazing, with the shared infinity pool and the stunning view. The appartement was new and bigger than expected, it was well very well equipped, the washing machine and dryer are a bonus! Lidias suggestions were also very useful. If you choose this accommodation you definitely need a rental car. - The only point that was not to our satisfaction was the bed. The size of the bed was small for a double bed and under it was only a board instead of the slatted frame. This made it very hard, we prefer a softer bed, but that is a matter of taste.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Der Check-in ging spontan und war sehr leicht. Schöne Lage und Sicht in den Bergen. Wir hatten schöne Sonnenuntergänge am Pool und in den eigen Gärten konnte man auch gemütlich liegen und Essen. Ebenfalls waren wir sehr zufrieden mit der Sauberkeit . Das Preisleistungsverhältniss war mehr als gegeben.

C'est le plus beau airbnb que nous avons ete. La vue était tout simplement hallucinante. C'était une petite villa de luxe avec tous les commodités nécessaires Il manquait de rien. L'hôte a été très réceptive à chaque demande. On était 2 couples. La piscine est tout simplement incroyable. Il y a 4 portes patio dans la villa avec un beau balcon au deuxième étage. Il y a 6 villas et on avait la villa 4. Je reviendrais à cet endroit sans hésiter. Le seul désagrément est la distance de la capitale funchal soit 50 minutes mais en même temps, cela fait son charme. On a fait des randonnées superbes car le pays pour cela. Pas facile la conduite automobile. Je vous conseille d'avoir un gps fiable et fonctionnel sinon vous allez vous perdre. Il y a tellement de tunnels

Die Unterkunft war toll, alles wie beschrieben und trotz 2. Reihe hatten wir einen tollen Blick auf die Klippen und auf die Sonnenuntergänge. Küche war gut ausgestattet und die Villa generell sehr sauber. An einer Wand gab es einen Wasserschaden und hat dadurch etwas modrig gerochen. Lidia hat da schnell auf unsere Nachricht reagiert, ist vorbeigekommen und getan, was sie konnte. Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb, uns hat es aber nicht gestört, wir wussten es ja vorher schon. Mit Auto kommt man aber in alle Richtungen gut hin. Wenn man ohne Auto unterwegs, ist es eher ungünstig. Der Pool ist ein absoluter Pluspunkt. Man kann sich in der Villa absolut gut gehen lassen.

My mother and I spent a month here in early Jan to early Feb, on a DIY writing retreat. It's extremely good value, and a perfect location for a long stay-and for getting writing done. Delightful peace and quiet; inspiring huge ocean views. Fabulous pool, if very cold at this time of year (12-16°C); we got quite hooked on our short wake-up swims before breakfast. The house is well equipped (though the electric hob took some getting used to) and the wifi flawless, and anything else we needed (e.g. an extra table for separate workspaces) was quickly provided. You can't do much without a car here, though there are lots of nice small walks to explore right from the property. The best supermarket is Pingo Doce in Calheta (a 15-minute drive); the only walkable shop has very limited supplies. Calheta also has a good gym (Keep Fit) including plenty of barbells. Lidia and Juan were great, and always on hand when we needed anything. And the local cats and goats were cute. We'd love to come back!

New, purpose built holiday villas in remote location on the west of the island with dramatic views and wonderful pool area that never gets overcrowded. For people considering this property, keep in mind that you really need a car so if driving in Madeira isn't for you, then this might not be ideal! However if you are doing a self drive holiday, then this is a lovely spot. The villas a well equipped and overall the place is very neat and tidy. I would say that there aren't many amenities immediately accessible so just note that you will have to drive out for dinner or cook at home ( the villas have bbq facilities if you bring the charcoal!) It's also not near any particularly good shops so if we had our time again I would have stopped at a major supermarket before our arrival. The nearest town is very quiet and doesn't even have a small shop so we would recommend going slightly further afield if you want to go out (Calheta was great and has a supermarket). Overall, lovely property but make sure you're happy with staying in a remote(ish) location.

This villa is gorgeous. A great part of the island in which you're a 45min drive from main Funchal and 30mins up to the north side of the island. Gorgeous views from the pool/villa and the villa has everything you could need! Kitchen, bathroom and living room is fully equipped with anything you might require and lidia is extremely helpful with sending over loads of links to nearby things to do/things you might need. A beautiful, quiet place to stay!
