Everything was as described and location was great!

Super logement, spacieux, propre, fonctionnel, avec une vue sur l'océan. Un séjour très agréable, nous y reviendrons sans hésiter ! Merci :)

wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Oceanbreeze Apartment sehr genossen. Das Gebäude an sich ist in die Jahre gekommen, die Wohnung aber modern und sehr schön eingerichtet. Der Meerblick und das Rauschen der Wellen war zu jeder Tageszeit ein Highlight. Am Gebäude gibt es einen kleinen Parkplatz - in 11 Tagen haben wir ein einziger Mal kein Glück gehabt. Aber das Parkhaus um die Ecke bietet immer genügend Platz als Alternative. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, aber ein bisschen mehr Besteck & Teller wären gut. Genauso wie ein Kleiderschrank und ein paar Haken im Eingangsbereich, an denen man seine Jacken aufhängen kann. wir würden jederzeit wieder dort übernachten. Es gibt diverse Möglichkeiten vor Ort (Cafés, Restaurants, Shopping, Strand), aber der Spaziergang nach Funchal ist auch schön - sonst gibt es auch eine Bushaltestelle in der Nähe.

Vi stortrivdes i denna fina lägenhet med magisk havsutsikt! Poolen var inte i bruk, vilket var synd, men värden ordnade med fritt inträde till det allmänna badet ca 100 meter från boendet. Vi fick plats på parkeringen alla dagar, vilket var väldigt smidigt. Bra och mycket smidig kommunikation med värden som alltid var snabb att svara.

Beautiful location and convenient cozy room to recharge in between adventures. I will say that if you are looking to park in the apartment lot mentioned in the listing- the parking spots are very tight and it was full almost every time we came home. The parking garage down the street is very economical and convenient for overnight parking, but if you want to do an early morning excursion (like a sunrise hike), then don't park in that parking garage as it is closes overnight and doesn't open until 7 or 8 a.m.

Vi havde et fantastisk skønt ophold i denne smukke lejlighed. Udsigten fra hele lejligheden er noget af det bedste og det er svært ikke at kigge ud, uanset om du sidder på altanen, ligger i sengen eller står i badet. Området er fyldt med restauranter, barer og smukke steder. Det eneste minus, som vi var ret så kede af, var at poolen var lukket. Den manglede vi rigtig meget om eftermiddagen når vi kom hjem fra vores vandreture. Ellers er der ikke en finger at sætte på dette skønne sted.

A great place from which to explore Madeira. We were able to check in early so that immediately started things off nicely! The building is a little run down but the flat itself is fantastic. The view from the balcony is amazing and we were able to watch the sunrise. All the amenities are great - oven, hob, microwave, washing machine, TV etc. The place was really clean and plenty of towels. There is a small car park which we were always able to park in although some people parked badly and blocked people in - we spoke to a resident who said sadly this happens a lot. The location is great with local shops, bars and restaurants within a short walk. Funchal centre is about 50 mins walk away. The apartment is about a 5 mins drive to main road that can take you anywhere on the island. Highly recommended, would definitely stay here again when visiting Madeira.

Loved this little place. Tight in the promenade and the local public pool was great. No air conditioning so got very hot at times.

We spent a week in Funchal staying in this beautiful apartment with amazing view. The bed was SO comfortable and we slept so well! The pool at the apartment was out of use which was disappointing but a very short walk away was another pool with beds and parasols, so we didn't miss out! The promenade walkway along the coast and near the hotels was lovely, once you got used to the hills! Public transport to Funchal was convenient and we even walked into Funchal one evening in about 50mins. We struggled to use the hob but this was sorted in no time as all our communication with the owners was fantastic and so helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Nous avons passés un excellent séjour dans cet appartement, avec cette vue sur la mer qui était magnifique. Tout était très propre et nous n avons manqué de rien . La piscine était inaccessible mais l agence nous trouve une super alternative. Merci pour ce séjour inoubliable

De accommodatie was erg comfortabel, het is een net opgeknapt appartement, het uitzicht van het balkon was geweldig. ideale locatie om Funchal en de rest van Madeira te ontdekken. Op de gemeenschappelijke parkeerplaats konden we de helft van de dagen de auto kwijt, de andere dagen moesten we hem voor 8.50 euro per dag parkeren. Het gratis zwembad is verouderd, waardoor we liever bij de zwembaden in de buurt gingen zwemmen voor 5 euro pp. In september koelde het 's nachts niet veel af waardoor we wel een beetje een airconditioning miste.

Hervorragende Lage mit Blick auf den Ozean. Alles ist fußläufig erreichbar, und die Umgebung ist ruhig, friedlich und gemütlich. Es ist ein perfekter Ort, um sich zu erholen und den Urlaub in vollen Zügen zu genießen - alles Notwendige für einen komfortablen und angenehmen Aufenthalt ist vorhanden.

Lovely apartment, perfect for a couple. Looked just like the photos with even better views. The balcony with the sea view is the highlight, which you can even see from the shower! Great location just outside of Funchal and close to shops, supermarkets, restaurants and the sea. The building is a bit rundown and in serious need of some TLC, with the pool in particular in need of maintenance. This was fine for us as we spent a lot of time at a local pool complex instead with access to the sea (Ponta Gorda Lido 2min walk), but worth noting. However, the apartment is completely the opposite with little to no signs of wear and tear and in overall great condition. Parking is very tight (so don't get a large hire car!) but most of the time we found a space and there is a nearby car park as a back up (€8.50 for 24 hours). Would definitely recommend both location and apartment.

Tout était parfait à l'exception du nombre de place de parking pour le bâtiment ! Je recommande fortement ce logement pour son emplacement, ses équipements et son charme.

Super appartement, propre et suffisant pour nos besoins. Magnifique vue sur l'océan et piscine très agréable après la randonnée. Peu de places de stationnement dans la résidence donc il y a un parking payant à 100m de là au coût de 8.50€ par jour. Attention aux horaires d'ouvertures de ce parking qui ferme la nuit. Ce qui, pour l'anecdote, nous a empêché de rendre notre véhicule de location à l'aéroport comme prévu. Nous avons dû laisser les clefs dans l'appartement et je tenais à profondément remercier l'équipe d'OurMadeira de s'être organisée avec notre loueur de voiture pour la restitution des clefs.

Loved the location - although is very hilly - that is part of Funchal! Also loved sitting on the balcony.

Très bel appartement bien rénové avec vue sur mer, sans vis à vis, ce qui est appréciable et calme. A noter que l'immeuble est assez vieux mais comme l'appartement est très bien, cela n'est pas gênant. L'accès à la mer est en bas de l'immeuble mais payant. Un ventilateur est rangé dans le placard et est nécessaire pour passer une bonne nuit avec la chaleur. Petite précision concernant la salle de bain qui a une grande baie vitrée qui donne sur le reste de la pièce à vivre donc pas d'intimité quand on est aux toilettes ou autre

It was our first time to Madeira and we will definitely be back and hopefully stay in the same place again. Fantastic location with a beautiful view and the place was done very nicely.

Very professional host. Made sure both we and they had all necessary information for a smooth check-in, stay and check-out. No surprises when it came to the apartment. Looked and felt as depicted, apart from the view from the balcony, which was even more stunning than the pictures. Especially on those early, lucky mornings with clear skies. The kitchen was adequately equipped for making a nice breakfast and lunch without any trouble. So nice with the coffee pod machine and the small dish washer. We had a wonderful trip to Madeira and are definitely coming back for more hikes ����

Linda's place was great, matched exactly the description advertised. Great location with views of the sea from the balcony and a short walk to the coastal path. Lots of lidos nearby but the pool with the apartment was perfect in itself and was very quiet so spent most of the days there. Linda/andre were very responsive and flexible and let me check-in early which was super helpful.
