bien équipée à tous les niveaux, avec une vue magnifique sur
l'océan. Les photos sont tout à fait conformes à la réalité. La
localisation de cette villa est excellente pour visiter, randonner,
faire différentes excursions. très bon rapport qualité
prix/espace/localisation/équipement. Contacts très faciles et
rapides avec Our Madeira et avec David, qui tient le café à 50
mètres de la villa. Encore un énorme merci à lui d'avoir été
attentif aux différentes demandes (il veille vraiment à ce que les
locataires se sentent bien :-) ).

In all honesty, great host. Very very helpful and always there
for any question. The house was completely worth it and just like
it was in the pictures. The vicinity doesn't have much to offer but
this ended up being a plus because it was completely quiet and
peaceful at night. If you have a car, this is incredibly close to
Calheta Beach and a recommended stay. Thank you for having
us!

and there is enough space for everyone. David was really nice and
always helped us out. The location is perfect to explore the whole

Dobre ubytovani ve velkem dome s obrovskou terasou. Primo pod
terasou je lokalni silnice, takze je treba pocitat s obcasnym
projetim auta. Hned za domem vede hlavni silnice, ale orientace
domu je na druhou stranu a o teto silnici jsme v podstate nevedeli.
Vybaveni slusne, jen mycka je hodne malinka, ale nam to nevadilo. V
dochozi vzdalenosti jsou 2 obchody, jeden vetsi a jeden mensi, to
je velka vyhoda. (majitelel toho mensiho je primo majitelem
pronajimaneho domu)

Big house with lovely view of the sea! David was easy to
communicate with and we knew he was on hand if we had any problems.
We would definitely recommend having a car if you're staying here -
we were glad we had one as there is not much to do nearby on foot
(we were there in low-season, though). Some of the appliances were
a bit outdated but wifi was fast in the living room, the beds were
comfy and the house was warm enough, despite it being a rainstorm
for most of the time we were there!

One of the best trips we ever had!!! The island is absolutely
incredible and the house is spacious, comfortable and welcoming. It
has amazing and sunny views; one of the best memories is the

car as location is a 30 minute drive from the main city of funchal

cooking facilities inside and outside. Area hasn't alot going on so
need to drive to get to Prazeres and other areas. We intended to
get buses but bus stop was closed so were a bit stranded. Great

A casa é fantástica. Ficámos aqui
hóspedados um grupo de amigos e foi uma agradável estadia. A casa é
muito espaçosa, bem equipada e como nova. Fica numa zona um pouco
longe do Funchal, mas compensa para quem quer ir explorar outros
pontos da ilha e pelo lugar socegado onde se situa. O check-in e
check-out muito fáceis. O David, responsável pela casa, é muito
simpático, prestável e comunicativo, sempre pronto a ajudar. Ao
lado da casa há uma pequena mercearia que dá para fazer compras
para as refeições. Recomendo a futuros hóspedes que queiram
usufruir de uns dias de férias na ilha.

Onze eerste keer op Madeira. Het was februari, dus elke
dag afwachten wat voor weer het zou worden. Elke dag was het beter
dan de voorspellingen. Het huis was super schoon en groot. David
was zeer gastvrij. Zeer comfortabel huis voor gezin met tieners en
jong volwassenen. Bovenverdieping was ruimte voor onze studerende
zoon. Twee slaapkamers daar. Ook twee slaapkamers beneden. Drie
badkamers. Twee balkons, waar we in de luwte in de zon konden
zitten. Het uitzicht was schitterend. Ruime kduken met eettafel. 5
minuten rijden naar het strand. Calheta is een heerlijk plaatsje.
Verschillende restaurants vlak bij. Ik zou dit huis zo weer
huren!

don't miss this fantastic villa, near by Calheta. Far from
the cities, but close enough if you want to move to any imporant
city or important place. Front Ocean, excellent access and the

What a nice view - what a nice villa! These has been our
first impressions after checking in! We've been here as a group of
friends, celebrating Christmas. The villa has two floors (each with
a very nice balcony) and a top view from both of them to the ocean!
The host was very helpful! After we didn't manage to start the
oven, he was there in minutes to help us - although it has been on
Christmas Eve! The villa was also quite accessible for wheelchair
users. There's only a steep ramp to enter, where you probably would
need some help, if you're not having an electric wheelchair. But
inside it was quite good to get around. Overall our stay was
perfect!

Sehr schön und gut ausgestattetes Haus, gut geeignet für 2
Paare und Kinder. Die Küche ist top ausgestattet, schöne Terrasse
zum draußen essen, auch den Griller haben wir einmal benutzt. Die
Matratzen sind eher hart, wir mögen das, aber manch einer ist da
empfindlich. Den Gastgebern gehört das Cafe gleich daneben, wo man
im Laden so ziemlich alles bekommt, auch Werkzeug usw. Die
Sandwiches dort sind auch zu empfehlen, ebenso der Poncha. In der
Nachbarschaft gibt es einige Hunde und Hähne, die einen stören
könnten, wenn man einen leichten Schlaf hat. Ansonsten günstig
gelegen, man ist gleich auf der Schnellstraße. Unbedingt einen
Besuch in der Pukiki Tiki Bar machen und einen Cocktail trinken!
Wir waren im Jänner dort, da kann es nachts schon etwas kalt werden
und man muss den Heizstrahler einschalten. Insgesamt eine tolle
Unterkunft, würden wir auf jeden Fall wieder nehmen.

Großes Haus mit viel Platz und gut ausgestatteter Küche.
Terrasse und Balkon mit schönem Blick aufs Meer. Ruhig gelegen,
aber trotzdem mit guter Verkehrsanbindung, wenn man mit einem
Mietwagen unterwegs ist. Sehr freundliche Vermieter,
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zu Fuß in unmittelbarer Umgebung.

perfect holiday villa, great location
Beautiful, well maintained and clean Casa in a perfect location
with sweeping sea views surrounded by vineyards and banana
plantations. The wide double aspect balcony means you can chose sun
or shade all day long and there is plenty of outdoor furniture and
a traditional barbecue. It's easy to find just a few minutes from
the VE3. David and his family are very welcoming, they serve lovely
Tostas and home made garlic bread at Café Do 99 just a short walk
away, and they have a small shop with basic essentials, wine and
beer. There is a larger supermarket 10 minutes walk away but we
didn't need to go there. Don't miss an evening or three in the
Pukiki Tiki bar 5 mins walk down the road to the East. Calheta
Beach is within an easy short driving distance. Funchal is about 30
mins away via the motorways, and the villa is about 50 mins drive
from the airport. We had a perfect holiday and would love to come
back soon. We booked the villa through Our Madeira and cannot fault
the organisation and communication. Thank you so much for everyone
who made our holiday so special.

Se trata de una enorme casa con mucho espacio. las vistas
son preciosas y el ambiente muy tranquilo. El encargado de la casa

This is a great place for staying in Estreito de Calheta!
We stayed a week and enjoyed the house (mainly the perfectly
situated balcony) very much. It is located conveniently near
supermarkets, cafe do 99 and, recommended, Pukiki bar. Also Calheta
with beaches, small shopping center and restaurants is nearby.
Recommended to rent a car and drive around the complete west part
of the Island from here. We went hiking along beautiful levadas
(such as Rabacal) and visited almost all coastal towns. The host is
very friendly and helpful, has some good tips to enjoy Madeira.
Nevertheless, we stayed at 'home' one day and just enjoyed the view
and our own coffee.

Schönes, großzügiges Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage mit toller Aussicht
Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße von Calheta und besitzt einen tollen Meerblick. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht, es ist sauber und falls Probleme auftreten ist der zuvorkommende Housekeeper hilfsbereit zur Stelle. Neben der herzlichen Begrüßung gab es ein Begrüßungsgeschenk in Form von heimischen Wein und Kuchen. Ein paar Meter vom Haus entfernt gibt es einen kleinen Shop/Cafe in dem man wirklich fast alles bekommt. Alles in allem war es ein toller Aufenthalt, auch wenn das Wetter mal nicht so toll war.

Our Madeira review (5 stars unless I can give you more!)
This was the first time we have used Our Madeira and found the customer service to be exceptional. They answered all questions we had about accommodation promptly and also sourced us a great deal on car hire with fully comp insurance. When we found ourselves stranded on the island for a second week following flight cancellations, Linda could not have been more helpful, staying in the office out of hours to source accommodation for us, organising letters for our insurance company and also finding out about a second car hire. This went above and beyond our expectations and we will not hesitate to book again and recommend Our Madeira to anyone wanting to holiday in Madeira.
We ended up staying here after being stranded on the island following a flight cancellation and from the start David, who looks after the villa, could not have been more helpful. He picked us up and returned us to the airport at a reduced rate. His family run a small shop and bar a very short walk from the property and so he was always on hand for little things such as acting as a translator when ordering taxis and keeping the shop open when we arrived to let us get essentials. This made our first night at the villa a lot more enjoyable!
The house itself was very clean and spacious with a large balcony and stunning views of the ocean. It got sunshine all day long and well into the evening. It was traditional in style inside and out with comfortable furniture. The villa has good parking if you have a hire car. It also had great wifi.
