Beautifully located at the top of the cliffs above the Paul do Mar beach, this character two-bedroom villa in Madeira is the perfect refuge, offering privacy and tranquillity and breath-taking panoramic views of the coast and ocean and of the surrounding countryside.

Top of the Cliff is a Madeira farmer's cottage that has been sympathetically refurbished from an old country stone cottage to maintain its character. The open-plan living area on the ground floor has a sitting area with flat-screen TV, a dining table and chairs and a fully equipped kitchen and guest toilet.

Both bedrooms on the first floor have peep windows to the south (so you can wake up to that superb view) and larger windows to the side and share a modern family bathroom. The Master Bedroom also has its own private balcony facing west.

The solarium is exposed to the sun the whole day and the triangular swimming pool (optionally heated) occupies the front. With the uninterrupted views of the ocean, it creates the impression you are sailing on a cruise ship.
The covered veranda that extends the whole front of the villa is the perfect place to enjoy an outdoor meal or sit with a drink in the evening whilst the sun goes down over the surrounding rolling hills.

The surrounding countryside is perfect for walks and hiking. Walking in Madeira has become a main attraction to our visitors and Top of the Cliff provides good access to levadas and the beautiful mountains.
There is a wide choice of villas in Madeira, but the character, location and outstanding views from Top of the Cliff make staying here an unforgettable experience.

Swimming pool heating:

Pool heating can be provided and should be requested at least one week in advance. Should it be requested after arrival at the villa, the minimum charge applicable is one week, which is payable from the time the heating is turned on.

Cleaning
Cleaning and linen change is provided every 7 days.
All linen and towels are provided, including towels for the swimming pool.
