Set on the escarpment above Garajau Beach and Christ the Redeemer statue, Vista Grande is so called because panoramic views of the sea are available from every bedroom and living area.
Arranged over three floors, this 3-bedroom air-conditioned villa is beautifully furnished and features a large games room and leisure room which, with the beautiful sun-exposed pool on a level below and surrounded by a lawn and trees, makes it a great villa for families or to simply relax and enjoy a drink while enjoying the sunset. This is one of the few villas in Madeira that enjoy this amazing uninterrupted sea-view.
From the main entrance and garage, a set of stairs lead to the first floor and where you can find the Master bedroom with ensuite, dressing area and private balcony and a further two double bedrooms and a family bathroom. An office that can be used for homeworking is also available in this floor. Going down another set of stairs we find a spacious open plan lounge and dining room that leads to the front veranda and built-in barbecue (for alfresco dinning) and is complemented by a fully equipped kitchen and separate laundry. The games room is accessible via an outside staircase, with sitting area (with a 1,40m wide sofa-bed for the 7th and 8th persons), flat screen TV and PlayStation, bar, and pool table and bathroom. Another set of stairs leads to the pool deck and garden overlooking the ocean. The large swimming pool (optionally heated) is surrounded by sun-beds, sun umbrellas and a shower, lawn and trees.
Many further facilities are close by, with a good selection of restaurants and two branded supermarkets, easy access by cable car to the beach of Garajau, part of the Marine Reserve, with beautiful clear waters for a swim in the sea. TThe vibrant town of Funchal is a mere 15 minute drive away.
