Vom ersten Moment an ein toller Urlaub. Eine beeindruckende Unterkunft in gepflegtem Zustand, der Garten und der Pool sind sehr schön, der Ausblick wundervoll. Toll ist die große Garage, die vielen Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad, das geräumige Wohn- und Esszimmer. Draußen steht ein Grill zur Verfügung und die Küche ist auch brauchbar um selbst etwas zu kochen. Bei Ankunft stand Milch, Wasser, Saft, Kaffee und Tee zur Verfügung. Wir würden jederzeit sehr gerne wieder diese Unterkunft buchen.

The home is very private and quiet despite some moderate construction and few infrequent dogs barking. You feel very secluded and set apart. The house is exceptionally clean and the weekly service was a plus. The house faces south with minimal shade except along the shrubbery in the pool area which worked out well. The hotel staff followed up after 1st day to check on us. We had a couple of issues that were addressed immediately. The kitchen had all you need for self catering. We had the pool heated which was helpful in November. Leaf debris was constant so we used the skimming tool between twice weekly cleanings. I would recommend asking for morning cleanings allowing for privacy most of the day. It was nice to turn the keys over to the hotel manager on our last day. He was appreciative of our feedback and was a nice parting gesture. The best part on location was walking to several restaurants!

We had a wonderful stay in the villa. Nice bedrooms and plenty of dishes and glasses for the number of people. This is a beautiful spot with a view to kill for. We will definitely book again.

Had an amazing stay there. Host is super friendly and flexible. We could stay at their hotel after check-out because our flight was pretty late. Even has a pingpong table in the garage. Everything was nice and as described. We even got welcome gifts. Would recommend. Only thing is the garden looked bigger on the pictures but that wasn't an issue.

Villa Albatroz gave us the most perfect stay in Madeira and we can't wait to come back. The villa itself is spacious, every bedroom has its own bathroom which is a huge positive, the pool is very big and the garden area and views are incredible. We spent some evenings stargazing and bbqing our dinner, and others we walked down the road to use the multiple restaurants nearby which were all fantastic - especially La Carbonara. The added bonus of being able to use the beautiful hotel facilities was the icing on the cake for us!

Excellent house in a stunning setting overlooking the sea. Really spacious - each bedroom has its own ensuite. Kitchen good and the welcome pack is always kind. We were met at the house by the representative after calling from the airport as requested. Pool was lovely and we paid for heating as it was February - worth every penny as it made the pool useable. There are a few restaurants in walking distance as well as a shop, but you need a car here in reality if you want to visit anywhere. A quiet location at the end of a cul de sac. I saw a review saying it was a little tired and that's probably a fair comment, but I would absolutely recommend it. It's probably not a great house for toddlers because of the garden slope and steps to the pool.

A beautiful, spacious villa set in a calm, quiet location with amazing sea views. The house is very well-equipped and the service provided is rapid and efficient. We can highly recommend this villa for a peaceful holiday.

 

The villa is wonderful and you can see the ocean cliffs from the backyard, a very relaxing, spacious and beautiful home. The only downside is the pool temperature - the water was cold - and the Canico neighborhood from Madeira is the most windy in the island. Probably not a big issue during July/August months.

We totally enjoyed our week in Vill Albatroz, villa is spacious and ideal for our family's needs. Communication was exceptional, checked we were ok and if anything needed cleaning after a storm! Let us stay longer on check out day as we had a late flight Our grandchildren and us had a wonderful holiday for our First time in Madeira,, we will definitely be coming back . THANKYOU

What a wonderful house! Villa Albatroz sits on a cliff with stunning views of the ocean. The house is big enough for two families with 4 en suite bed rooms. Our kids really enjoyed the heated pool, which though it requires an extra charge was worth it for us in the middle of the winter. The area is quiet, but within convenient distance from the facilities in Funchal. There are a couple of up-scale hotels nearby and therefore there are several pretty good restaurants nearby.

Fabulous Christmas stay. Large, modern and well maintained villa in peaceful location at end of cul-de-sac. Minimal traffic noise. Terrific views from lounge, two bedrooms and garden. Brilliant setting on cliff edge with fantastic ocean views to desertas isles, especially glorious sunrises. Private and peaceful rear garden with sound of sea and birds. Clean and homely. Smallish kitchen but cosy with electric cooker, dishwasher and fridge freezer. Very large king size master bed with terrace and sea views. Slept well. 4 en-suite bedrooms with marble wash basins. Bathroom plumbing fast and reliable. Individual air on/heating in every room. Electric front gate and parking near front door on level for bringing in shopping without steps. Owned by 5 star Albatroz Hotel who provide complimentary airport transfers 8 minutes to villa. Complimentary use of hotel pools and facilities. Staff at hotel very friendly and helpful with queries and maintenance man attended very promptly to resolve a couple of issues. 15 minute drive to Funchal. Enjoyed wonderful mountain and levada walks on this beautiful island. Staff at Our Madeira very helpful with bookings and speedy replies. Already booked Villa Albatroz again!

The Villa Albatroz is exactly what we wanted. Spacious and with a fantastic view. There were only two things that we could complain about. We had to wait ages for someone to come and let us in even though we phoned from the airport to say that we'd arrived. The second thing was that we arrived on a Tuesday but the pool wasn't cleaned until the following Thursday. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can heartily recommend it to anyone else.

Sehr sauber und ordentlich gepflegt, mit zusätzlicher Reinigung während unseres Aufenthaltes, tolles Swimmingpool und herrliche Sonnenecke mit Blick auf den Atlantik. Weiteres Plus: kostenloser Transfer vom Flughafen zum Haus!

Das großzügige Haus und der herrliche begrünte Garten mit großem Pool in atemberaubender Lage an der Steilküste von Canico de Beixo wurden 10 Tage zu einem traumhaften und ruhigen Domicil, um das uns Freunde, die uns besuchten, zu Recht beneideten. Wir waren 5 Personen, aber auch zu 8 hätte man mit 4 Schlafzimmern, 4 Bädern und 1 Gäste-WC bei bestens eingerichteter Küche (nur ein Tablett und ein Oelpinsel fehlten) und großzügigem Wohnbereich viel Platz gehabt! Wir können Villa Albatroz ohne Vorbehalte für einen entspannten Ferienaufenthalt empfehlen! Friedrich-K. Winkler

We all loved this villa and it has everything you need. It is so nice you could spend the whole week in the villa without going out. I would say a car is needed if you like to go into Funchell as it is too far to walk but you can get taxis easy enough. There are a couple of bars within walking distance but quite steep so a car is needed really.

Sehr sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet, haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Besonders toll: der Zimmerservice, der einmal kam und u.a. die Betten neu bezog und Handtücher wechselte.

This villa is in a breathtaking location! It's located on a cliff side giving you AMAZING views and a perfect spot to relax in. When we arrived the villa was very clean and the fridge was full with the essentials (bread, butter, jam etc) for the first day or two which we really appreciated! We stayed there with a group of our friends last July and it was one of the best holidays we've ever been on. The staff which was in contact with us was of a very high standard helping us out with any needs or questions we had. The transfer from the airport was very fast and the villa is located very close to local shops and restaurants. It's also about 30min (by bus) away from a big town centre. You can also use the hotel which is connected to the villa and use their facilities like the swimming pools or the jacuzzi and restaurant. The hotel staff will help you with that too ordering you a taxi there and back. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who loves a relaxing holiday! Like I mentioned before the whole experience was amazing and we look forward to returning in the future.

Wer einmal abschalten möchte und für 8 Personen ein Domizil auf Madeira sucht, dem kann ich die Villa Albatroz nur empfehlen! Wir waren 8 Erwachsene (4 Paare) und jedes Paar hatte sein Zimmer mit Doppelbett und eigenem Bad. Besonders schön ist die Suite, die einen eigenen großen Balkon hat. Das Wohnzimmer mit zusätzlichem Essbereich ist groß und geräumig, die Terrasse mit Garten und Pool und Blick aufs Meer einfach schön! Unterhalb vom Pool (ein schön großer Pool, in dem man wirklich schwimmen kann) ist ein kleiner Ausichtsplatz - hier auf seiner Liege zu liegen und die Seele baumeln zu lassen, ist Erholung pur) Die Villa ist so wie beschrieben und die Vermietung hat einwandfrei geklappt. Wir wurden am Flughafen abgeholt und sogar am Abreisetag morgens um 4 Uhr früh an Karfreitag abgeholt und zum Flughafen gebracht. Am Ankunftstag hatten wir sogar alle Zutaten für ein Frühstück als Empfang - Ich kann nichts Negatives finden und würde immer wieder diese Villa buchen!

Second time we have stayed in this villa and it wont be the last, The villa and its location make for a superb place to relax. The organisation of Our Maderia from booking transfers and care hire delivered to the minute all help on the travel day. An excellent property exactly as described and excellent location also as described. I would reccomend to anybody though i hope not too many take up the option as we will want to return next year
