Nous venons de passer 12 jours dans la villa . Cette maison est st bien placée pour découvrir l'île . La vue depuis le jardin/ terrasse est vraiment magnifique !!!! Villa très grande , conforme à la description , très très propre à notre arrivée . L'équipe our Madeira a été très agréable et réactive ( sujet de piscine traitée immédiatement ). Bref que du positif !!! Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour et le calme environnant .
Prachtig grote villa met uitzicht op Funchal. Mooi ingericht en groot zwembad. Heerlijk Pilatus buiten kunnen doen. Baantjes zwemmen, bbq. Iedereen eigen slaapkamer en badkamer. Mooi zonsondergang.
Heerlijk ruim huis en goede parkeerplek. Goede locatie om eiland te verkennen.

We absolutely loved this charming old world home. It's full of character. Spotlessly clean so peaceful and relaxing. Very comfortable. Would highly recommend. The views over the city are amazing!
What an amazing villa! It matched the pictures perfectly and housed 3 couples with tons of room. We enjoyed the large living spaces, kitchen. dining room etc. and the outdoor patio and pool was pristine, with breath taking views! logement très grand et très agréable. chaque chambre possède sa salle de bain ce qui est très appréciable pour un groupe. la vue de la terrasse est magnifique. les hôtes sont très réactifs et arrangeants.
Svært lett å kommunisere med vertskapet. Spesielt før reisen. Fikk raske svar. Nydelig basseng. Det gikk fint å gå ned til sentrum. Vi var forberedt på mye bakker. Tok som regel Bolt eller Taxi hjem igjen. Adressen er noe vanskelig. Google map fikk ikke helt tak på gatenummer. Vi kunne også gjerne hatt en overmadrass i sengene. Det ville gjort oppholdet ennå bedre. Vi hadde lest om hunder i nabolag. De skapte noe støy. Supert hus med god plass og nydelig hage. Passet oss fint. 3 vennepar på opplevelses tur.

4 generations on holiday together. The house was perfect for us. 4 bedrooms, however 1 that did not have direct access from inside the house. Large rooms with plenty of space. A bit hard beds. The view of Funchal and the cruise ships coming and doing was fantastic, day and night! Easy to get to and from the house and short way to Funchal. We had three small cars and could part all of them inside the property. We enjoyed the stay a lot!
OurMadeira were fantastic hosts. Communication was quick, clear and very proactive. Any challenges (which there always will be with a property of this stature), OurMadeira did everything they could to resolve it. Would definitely return. Property is larger than photos appear. One of the best restaurants in Funchal is a short 5 minute walk away. And the pool was great. The 4th bedroom is separate from the main house which offers extra privacy. Only problem were the dogs next door, they insistently bark which was a hindrance but nothing in control of OurMadeira or the villa owner could do about it. Good amenities and everything was a described. Highly recommend this place. Thank OurMaderia for making our first visit to Funchal so memorable!

Beautiful well appointed villa with stunning views! We enjoyed every minute! Grand design if you love that style. The pool was amazing! We spend much time there. :)
5 friends stayed a week at this beautiful, comfortable, palacial villa. Nearest restaurant, bar, pharmacy & small grocery store 5mins walk. Rest of the time we took taxis into Funchal, that are relatively cheap. The Three House Restaurant & Hotel is a must for those requiring fine dining. Mauricio, Head Chef is amazing. Area not for the feint hearted or those with a walking disability, as you are surrounded by hills. We would definitly visit again, as villa catered for everything we needed.
Beautiful home to enjoy a restful holiday. Easy to get around using local transport and a fantastic bar and restaurant in walking distance - thankfully uphill on the way there! An amazing week away.
The house was even better than expected. The view is amazing. We had a very pleasant stay there and it is easy to get around just by simply using Bolt. However a rental car is recommended to get around and for groceries shopping. We really enjoyed the outside area with sun beds and dining table. All in all very pleased and would love to come back sometime.

This was a perfect holliday home for us. We were 3 and a half couples of old friends and the house was the perfect place to stay. Perfect sea view, great pool and comfortable beds. Perfect communication during the entire process. Highly recommend - in case you have a car or are in a very good shape. The roads are very steep.
Top things we liked: - the view is amazing, the house is very spacious, very clean, impecable bed linen and towels. A unique experience because the house has old style furniture…exept de beds wich are modern and very confortable.

Beautiful and big home, very quiet. We spend a very good time into it. It is closed to the center of Funchal (30 mn on foot) and everything's feet for us. Near the speedway, we get evrywhere in Madeira very quickly. The trail in Madeira where very beautiful.
Super villa, perfect for families, especially with young kids. The views are amazing and super close to Funchal. Recommend our Madeira, will book with them again.
Fantastic villa, great location, amazing views. If you are looking for a spacious villa with a lovely pool and views of Funchal bay, then this is hard to beat. We arrived in the early evening and the welcome pack containing bread, milk and cheese was just what we needed. The kitchen is well equiped with everything you could possibly need. Maybe the showers could do with updating and we had a few electrical problems but nothing major and the rep was very helpful. Theres a well stocked convenience store nearby and a very good resaurant (a long as you are OK with with steps and steep hills). Highly recommended.

We had a thoroughly lovely stay at the Villa del Sol. The facilities were fantastic, the view heavenly and and the location superb. Slightly away from the bustle but only 5 minutes drive away. The hosts, Our Madeira, we're fantastic and took a lot of the stress of organising everything away.
