It would be difficult to imagine a better location for an Apartment in Funchal: with glorious sea-view and overlooking the marina and cruise port of Funchal, the pedestrianized area with its outdoor cafés, the Municipal Gardens, the La Vie shopping centre and the many restaurants and shops of Funchal are all on your doorstep.
This sixth floor apartment benefits from a southern exposure and amazing views from the living area and bedrooms. Recently fully refurbished to a high standard, the lovely airy open-space lounge, dining and kitchen opens to the sea-facing balcony, where you can relax in the evenings, check out which cruise ships are in that day and see the world go by on the sea promenade below (specially beguiling in the evening sun), making this one of the most appealing apartments in Madeira.
Both bedrooms are spacious and have air conditioning/heating and share the modern shower-room. The larger has king-size bed, the second bedroom two single beds.

Check-in times - at the property - are between 16H00 and 19H00. For Sunday arrivals and out of hours check-in, alternative arrangements will be made and an additional cost will apply.
Check-in and check-out flexibility will be applied where possible, but this will depend on housekeeping schedules and the departure and arrival days of other reservations either side of your stay; a definitive answer can only be provided within 24 hours of your arrival for check-in and your departure for check-out.

Excellent position for town and bus services. Apartment is spacious and well equipped with great views from all areas. The balcony only has space for two which was enough for us. A visitor book would have been useful for local recommendations.

Lovely bright apartment centrally located overlooking the harbour. Well furnished and supplied with utensils etc. Heating and airco throughout although we didn't need either in January. We would definitely go there again.

First time in Madeira after many recommendations from friends. Loved Funchal, the people, food and especially this apartment. Perfectly located to see all the sites of Funchal and we were warmly met by Petronella, who looked after us and made sure we were OK after Madeira's first earthquake for many years! Quite an experience. We will definitely return.
Petronella Marina Apartment is walking distance to the city center, restaurants, and shopping. It is especially magical to be in Madeira during Christmas time, all of Funchal is decorated so beautiful. The view from the apartment is wonderful with cruise coming in and out everyday. The apartment is very clean and spacious. We had a wonderful stay and cannot wait to come back for another visit.
It might appear to be a contradiction but this is a quiet apartment overlooking the cruise terminal near all the facilities and restaurants in Funchal. Modern apartment.
We wanted to see the amazing Christmas lights in Funchal and decided to stay in the town instead of our usual holiday hotel choice and we couldn't have chosen better, We were met at the apartment and although we were early the apartment was ready for us and we couldn't have asked for more. Views over the marina to die for and a spacious 2 bed apartment just like the photos, spotlessly clean and although we didn't cook very well equipped if you wanted to. We will certainly book again
Wir haben fünf Wochen in dieser Wohnung verbracht. Die Wohnung ist sehr komfortabel eingerichtet und zentral gelegen. Die Wohnung ist kürzlich total renoviert worden und ist sehr gut gegen Lärm sowohl nach aussen wie auch nach innen isoliert. Die Besitzerin und ihre Schwester waren sehr hilfreich. Wenn wir nach Madeira zurückkommen, werden wir diese Wohnung wieder mieten.
Grear views from a lovely 2 bedroom apartment. Situated in the centre of Funchal with lots of restuarants shops and supermarkets close by. Would highly recommend.
Lage und Aussicht top. Zentrum und Hafen praktisch vor der Haustür, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Supermarkt, Bäcker) ebenso. Leider war kein Stellplatz für den Mietwagen vorhanden, wir haben unser Auto in der TG vom CR7-Hotel für 10€ für 24 Stunden abgestellt. Nachts sollte man geräuschunempfindlich sein (Verkehr, Nachtschwärmer). Geschlossene Fenster bieten hier leider keinen Vorteil gegenüber geöffneten. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, Übernahme und Übergabe insgesamt völlig unkompliziert. Insbesondere Urlaubern ohne Auto können wir das Apartment sehr empfehlen.
This is a fantastic modern apartment, recently decorated in a bright fresh style. Kitchen and bathroom are both superb and everything is spotlessly clean. The lounge and both bedrooms have views over the marina and we enjoyed breakfast on the balcony which caught the morning sun. Petronella met us on arrival and explained everything we needed to know. We would strongly recommend this apartment. The location is ideal, close by the marina, and the La Vie shopping centre ( with a large supermarket) is just a few minutes walk away. We used the Yellow Hop On Bus, and found it really convenient as the first bus stop of the circuit is just across the road at the Marina. Don't miss out on the wonderful custard tarts which are available for take away , just a few doors along at The Ritz!
Very clean and comfortable, beautiful view over the Marina.
The apartment is situated close to many facilities, the cable car ride is a must. We found eating out excellent especially the seafood restaurants. When staying in, there is a good pizza place just below the ground floor. Funchal is a friendly and very relaxed holiday destination.
We enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment which was spotlessly clean and had great views across the harbour. We enjoyed watching the cruise ships coming and going and although there is some road noise it didn't disturb our sleep in a very comfortable bed. The apartment is within walking distance of Funchal's Old Town and the many restaurants that are available. It is also situated close to a lovely park and within walking distance to the Lido area. We would certainly stay again if we return to Funchal
The apartment was very clean and spacious. We truly enjoyed the beautiful view. Looking out at all the cruise ships was fantastic. The apartment is in a perfect location. It is walking distance to the city center and shopping. Christmas time in Madeira is magical with all the holiday lights, and decorations during the holidays. Can't wait to return.
We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is spotless, spacious and well equipped. Having a well provisioned and full kitchen is a bonus. The views over the marina are fabulous and the location is perfect being close to shops, markets and most bus routes. No hesitation in recommending Petronella's place!
We thought this apartment was exceptional in terms of size, view and location. It has been refurbished to a very high standard, The sea views are amazing and the location is very hard to beat. Only a short walk to a large supermarket and a flat walk ( rare in Madeira) to the centre of Funchal. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it and would like to return in the future.
