Beautiful home located in a very quiet area in the mountain hillside. Car hire is paramount due to location .taxis are available but due to location they can be difficult to arrange in short notice.Our Madeira ( home management team ) couldn't do enough for us available to answer any questions that we may have. Excellent customer service/support.

Prachtig verblijf met een mooi uitzicht, alles goed geregeld, zou mensen aanraden het zwembad wel te verwarmen

Recente, netjes onderhouden villa met prachtig zicht over Funchal. 3 ruime slaapkamers met zeezicht. 1 ruime slaapkamer zonder ramen. De villa was zeer proper bij aankomst. Bakker, restaurants, mini-supermarkt op wandelafstand (wel stevig klimmen :)) Grote supermarkt op 10 minuutjes rijden. Funchal vlot bereikbaar met de wagen of op 1 uur wandelen. Goede, vriendelijke en vlotte communicatie met OurMadeira.

We stayed at Monte White House as a group of 7 friends, and we had an amazing experience. The villa is absolutely beautiful, very spacious, and extremely comfortable. The pool is fantastic, and the view is simply breathtaking. The house is located up on a hill above the city, offering a stunning panoramic view. We all had a great time, especially because we could relax by the pool, socialize in the living room, and enjoy the outdoor space together. The road to the villa is not difficult, and it's conveniently located close to a large Continente supermarket where you can find everything you need. It's also very close to Funchal, which makes it a perfect location. We highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Madeira!

Wunderschöner Ausblick mit toller Einrichtung, wenige Minuten Fahrt runter in die Stadt, Platz für 2 Autos in der Einfahrt und jedes Doppelzimmer hat sein eigenes Badezimmer. Freundliche Verwaltung und unkomplizierte Kommunikation! Volle Empfehlung!

We truly enjoyed our stay here from the very beginning up until our checkout. We were incredibly happy with the space and how clean and well-maintained everything was. The number of rooms and bathrooms was amazing and everything was spacious and beautiful. It was better than anticipated! We loved the pool and used it daily with our three girls. The views from the villa were breathtaking and we enjoyed sunrises and sunsets from the comfort of our living room. The area was close to everything and we could commute to most places within 20 minutes or less! We would highly reccomended the White House to all, and would love to re-visit sometime. Thanks so much for the perfect stay in Madeira!

Vielen Dank! Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Aussicht ist der absolute Wahnsinn. Einzig schwierig war für uns, dass wir die Treppe nicht sichern konnten und somit immer extrem mit Krabbelkind und Kleinkind aufpassen mussten. Dies war auf den Fotos allerdings ersichtlich, haben wir aber bei der Buchung nicht bedacht. Preis-Leistung passt auch, lediglich die Poolheizung empfanden wir als überteuert.

Ontzettend mooi gehad in deze prachtige Airbnb! Alles was goed geregeld en het contact met de host ging makkelijk en snel. Het duurde wat langer voordat het warme water in de docuhes/keukenkraan op gang kwam, maar verder was alles perfect. Zwembad erbij ook heerlijk, alleen in januari een klein beetje fris ondanks de verwarming. We hebben een hele mooie tijd gehad met elkaar.

Stunning views and great amenities. The pool was fab and the rooms looked just like the pictures! The only thing is that it was very high up the mountain but that meant it had a great view and it was easily accessible for uber/Taxi drivers. Would definitely love to stay again and would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in madeira!

The views are absolutely stunning, but it's on top of the mountain, so you better be comfortable driving! :) The pool is amazing!

The villa is as shown in the photos, very well equipped with an impressive view of the ocean and the capital. The swimming pool is just as fabulous, pleasant temperature (24°) with an outside temperature of 27°. A big thank you to the staff at Our Madeira for their responsiveness and efficiency.

We loved our stay! The views were beautiful, everything was very clean and comfortable and check in/out was so nice and easy with great instructions. We had an issue with a blocked drain and contacted our madiera, they sent someone who fixed the issue right away no stress. Location wise it is up very steep hills which arent easy to walk if you want to get to the town, so we did need to call taxis (we used uber) which take a bit of time to get to the property. So If your going out somewhere just make sure you order the cab in good time.

Beautiful villa, communication has been extremely good and very quick with hosts. We were met at villa , again very good and shown everything we needed to know. We didnt hire a car but used the Bolt App. Taxis were cheap and very prompt never had any issues. The views from the property are wonderful. The holiday, villa and madeira itself were amazing. Loved our time there.

We had an amazing stay and were really impressed with the accommodation. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, and the view was simply breathtaking. The pool was a fantastic addition, perfect for relaxing. The only minor issue was a few ants in the kitchen, but it didn't detract from our overall experience. Everything else was exceptional, and we would happily return. The location is also very convenient, and the host was friendly and helpful.

Vi har haft en fantastisk vecka i Monte White House, så fint boende. Bra städat och utrustat med handdukar,pool handdukar,micro, diskmaskin, tvättmaskin,espressobryggare o vattenkokare.I köket märkte vi myror ibland… lämna inga matrester framme, knyt ordentligt runt tex bröd o sånt som inte ligger i kylen.Inget ovanligt på Madeira och det informerade värden om.Fantastisk terrass men ibland tyckte vi att poolens bräddavlopp lät för högt, det hade varit fint om man kunde stänga av det ibland för ljudets skull.Kontakten med Our Madeira har bara varit positiv och vi kommer gärna tillbaka till Monte White House, ett hus som hade ALLT för en skön semestervecka/Gunvor Alin

The villa was well-equipped, so to speak: each room had a proper hairdryer, plenty of dishes, and a large dishwasher, though the kitchen itself was small. The heated pool was a plus and quite rare for Madeira. Each person had four towels, allowing for convenient changes, but there were no shower gels, which was a first for us in Madeira. One major downside was the difficult access. Sometimes it took up to 15 minutes to maneuver around the villa and navigate past oncoming cars and buses. This was our second villa in the area, and, in my opinion, it had the most inconvenient location of all the places we've stayed.

The vila was even more beautiful than in the pictures, the view was simply breathtaking, especially at night. Great communication and very kind people when dealing with some unforeseen changes.

Heerlijk ruim huis met fijne keuken, ruim terras en prachtig uitzicht over de stad. Host zeer snel reagerend, vriendelijk. Zorgde bijvoorbeeld direct voor vervanging van kapotte blender. De route erheen was nog even zoeken ondanks goede beschrijving. Tip om niet in donker te arriveren. Alle wegen op Madeira zijn smal en steil en dat kan een uitdaging zijn..

The house is fantastically equipped. amazing view. the house is very clean and modern. we paid for the pool to be heated and swimming in it was pure pleasure. the house looks better than in the pictures.

We had a lovely stay in the Monte White House. Excellent hosts, great communication throughout. Beautiful villa, exactly as in photos. Clean and well presented. We had pool heated to 24 degrees which was perfect. Slight issue with aircon resolved swiftly - thank you! The villa location is Monte suburb with fantastic views over Funchal. We did not hire a car but instead used a combination of taxis and buses (bus stops close and buses generally regular - Sundays and BHs less reliable). Easy bus up to Monte and Babosa for Palace Gardens, the top of the main cable car, the beginning of some lovey Levada walks and some bars and restaurants with great views, and down to Funchal centre. Excellent bakery close by (albeit up a steep hill - nothing is flat on Madeira!). Hiring a car for a few days is probably a good idea to access the whole island including the volcanic pools (we visited these on a jeep tour) and for food shopping. The locals are very welcoming. All round fabulous holiday!

Second time here - we love it, lots of space, lovely pool but that's all second to the view which is just mesmerising!

The villa's swimming pool has made our stay special despite the additional cost. it was very clean and the water crystal clear. The bedrooms were really comfortable. The kitchen could be better equipped with an extra good chopping board and baking trays. We'll definitively stay at the villa again.

WOW what a place!! With great views over Funchal. The pool was fantastic; we paid to have it heated and this probably made us use it more than we would have if it wasn't heated but I'm glad we did. The villa itself is stunning, nice and clean and modern, We felt at home from the moment we arrived. Although we didn't eat in very much the kitchen was well stocked with enough utensils, pots and pans to cook a decent meal. The parking was okay, we had a Toyota Corolla estate and it fitted just fine ( albeit the entrance is a little tight as is the turn onto the road ) but doable. The host is very thorough with the information provided including direction how to find the villa which was very helpful. I had one query before we arrived regarding whether there was a hairdryer and This was answered promptly ( yes there is in each bathroom). Thank you for helping to make it such a memorable holiday.
