Great Location! Had all the amenities needed. Nance and the team very helpful and communication excellent.
As the listing makes clear, you will be staying right in the heart of the old town - on its oldest cobblestone street. That means some noise on the weekends and plenty of bustle right out the front door - but it also means you're immersed in the activity. It is steps from dozens of restaurants, bars, and the waterfront. Can't recommend this property enough if you are looking for a location in the middle of everything old town Funchal has to offer. Also an amazing value - would stay here again in a minute.
Sehr schöne und grosse Wohnung und sehr sauber. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und angenehm. Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Auch den Balkon haben wir genossen. Man ist mitten im Geschehen der Altstadt von Funchal. Alles was man braucht ist in nächster Gehdistanz. Auch der Bäcker um die Ecke mit Kaffee und Croissants. Das Leben in der Altstadt ist belebt und pulsiert, auch bis in die Nacht hinein. Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt. Ruth & Gabriela

Le personnel est d'une réelle gentillesse. Notre vol a eu beaucoup de retard et 1 personne était présente à 2 heures du matin pour nous remettre les clés! Ils ont répondu à nos différentes questions et ont su nous apporter leurs conseils durant notre séjour. Le logement est propre, grand et fonctionnel. Nous étions 2 couples et c'était parfait. L'emplacement est en plein cœur de la Rua Santa Maria, le top du top! Par contre, attention, qui dit plein centre, dit également bruit dans la rue le soir. C'est évident. Je recommande entièrement cet établissement.
Super Lage mitten in der Altstadt und zu allen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Bäcker, Supermarkt etc.), gepflegte, großzügige Wohnung mit Balkon & (kleinem) Blick aufs Meer, mehr als ausreichend Stauraum für Kleidung etc. Zudem sehr nette Gastgeber(in).
L'emplacement en plein centre ville à proximité des restaurants, du téléphérique, du marché, de l'océan et des stations de bus. Le balcon sur la rue animée avec une vue sur la mer Propreté du logement et équipements fournis au top !
Location is just amazing! In the middle of old town, few minutes from the little beach. All restaurants and shops in walking distance.

Perfect Place
Great location in Old Town, close to cable car, sea front, Spar and supermarket, fish market and lots of restaurants. Very well-appointed and large apartment with fully fitted and equipped kitchen, washing machine, lovely balcony from one bedroom, everything one could want. Gorgeous Xmas table decorations were a lovely surprise. Fantastically helpful lady named Vanessa, responsible for managing the apartments - can't rate her highly enough, so helpful and available every day till late to help with queries.
I did not have breakfast and I did not use the restaurant as I have been to Madeira for 16 years ( but not stayed in Funchal ) and have friends who live in Funchal who have shown me a variety of restaurants of value and excellence throughout my visits, even so I can't fault the apartment.
