THE APARTMENT WAS DIRECTLY ABOVE OUR FAVOURITE RESTAURANT, TABERNA RUEL. KNOWN IT FOR MANY YEARS.

We had a great stay. A lot of noise from the bar, but for us that was fine. Best location in Funchal if you want to live nearby the whole town.

Lovely place to stay. Really central, good restaurants, close to sea. Noisy on Fri/Sat night, as it's central, but we didn't mind so much at all - slept through it and worth it for the location. Should you stay here? Yes. Many good things and you'll be well entered in Madeira life!

Appartement spacieux et confortable. Très propre et bien équipé (machine à laver, etendage, TV), le tout au cœur de la vieille ville. Très bien. Très bon séjour dans cet appartement. Bon RQP

During curfew restaurans were open till 22:00 so they didn't bother to sleep

It was totally amazing, with all necessary equipment in the aparment. Apartment is near to the seaside, on the old street with restaurants and streetart objects, near to the cable road and public transport

Gute Lage in der Altstadt und nahe dem Meer. Kurzer Weg zur Markthalle mit Fischständen. Großes Apartment mit top Küche. Internet und deutsches TV. Komme gern wieder.

ausgezeichnete Wohnung mitten in der Alstadt von Funchal

Das Appartement war absolut neuwertig ausgestattet. Alles war sauber, funktionierte und es mangelte an nichts. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche. Die Lage mitten in der "Fressmeile" Rua de Santa Maria" (Altstadt) ist natürlich ideal. Seilbahn, Hafen (Tip >Santa Maria), Hauptbusstationen > alles ist keine 200m von der Wohnung entfernt. Man ist voll im Leben und braucht sich im Prinzip nicht im Appartement aufhalten. Schlüsselübergabe und Einweisung war absolut problemlos. Das Büro-Personal von den Besitzern der Wohnungen und der Resaturants (eines direkt am Gebäudeeingang) ist fast immer sehr lange anwesend, sehr hilfbereit und ausgesprochen freundlich. Zur Not hilft sonst auch das Gaststättenpersonal (Koffer nach oben bringen) Es gibt 10 % Rabatt auf beide dazugehörigen Restaurants. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis der Wohnung ist unschlagbar.

Extremely nice stay in old town Funchal

We enjoyed very much our stay in this comfortable and well equipped apartment. The service and kindness from the staff, including reception in the middle of the night, was perfect. We even enjoyed a dicount on our bill on the extremely nice food, in the restaurant below. Good service here too.

Pleasant stay. Except the loud noise from the patio bar and bistro behind the restaurant.

Restaurants downstairs, will get 10 percent discount. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices. Apartment is big with all necessary amenities. It is very comfortable and it is easy to walk around Funchal Old City.

Everything. All you would ever need for a comfy stay. Location is spot on. More gadgets than in my kitchen. At least 50 eateries within 100 yards. 10 mins walk into heart of Funchal, 1 minute cable car,bus station, taxis, promenade
