The villa is really well designed, the owners have thought of everything in terms of what you may need to enjoy your holiday and be stress free. Communication in advance of the trip was very clear and we really enjoyed the space and views. The photos are very accurate and it really is a lovely modern villa that makes it easy to get around the island. Would recommend!
We had a fantastic stay at Grandview Livramento. The villa was spotless, spacious, and very well equipped, with incredible views over Funchal and the ocean. The outdoor areas and pool were perfect for relaxing, and the hosts were responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Madeira.

Das Haus war hervorragend ausgestattet und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Das Wohnzimmer war sehr gemütlich und hochwertig eingerichtet. Die Küche war perfekt ausgestattet - mit ausreichend Geschirr, Töpfen, Pfannen und verschiedenen Küchengeräten, sodass man problemlos selbst kochen konnte. Alles war sauber, ordentlich und in einem ausgezeichneten Zustand. Auch die Schlafzimmer und Bäder waren hervorragend. Es gab genügend Badezimmer für alle Gäste, die Betten waren sehr bequem, und Bettwäsche sowie Handtücher waren reichlich vorhanden. Selbst an Details wie einen Föhn wurde gedacht. Our stay at the Grandview was simply grand! The decor was modern and very clean, the views were our favourite (every bedroom has its own patio access) & the property management host was easy to get a hold of. The pool is perfect & there are plenty of lounge chairs & places to tan during the day. The location is central (15 min drive) to everything in Funchal. Rent a car. The private indoor parking was such a bonus. Arriving to a loaf of bread, ham, cheese, butter & a bottle of a wine was a welcomed surprise! Some things to be mindful of: - There was no salt, pepper or oil available in the unit. The kitchen has pots/pans/cutting boards though & it's otherwise stocked well - The kettle for hot water is a plastic one which is unfortunate as we are always trying to minimize exposure to microplastics. - There is construction happening in front of the property and the house is on a main road. Once the windows/doors are closed, the unit is quiet I'd return here in a heartbeat :)

Grand Villa was absolutely beautiful. Everything was easy from check-in to check out with lots of great pointers given on where to eat and shop. We will definitely be back. I would definitely recommend this house. It has a wonderful location, taxis and bus available right down the street. Easy to Uber and has a parking garage for a rental car. The rooms and pool are gorgeous. I wish we could stay all year.

We had a wonderful time at grandview. If we could give six stars we would. The space is fabulous, great views from two different decks. The hosts have thought of everything. We are very sad to go home! Thank you for a holiday to remember.
This apartment was exactly as described! Very comfortable and clean. Host was very accommodating and flexible. They even provided some basic food staples to get us started. Communication was clear leading up to and during our stay. We would highly recommend this apartment and would book here again without hesitation!

Wir haben diese Villa im Oktober gebucht. Schon die Instruktionen zum Check-in waren klar und kamen rechtzeitig. Das Haus sieht live genauso gut aus wie auf den Bildern! Alles war sauber und in einwandfreiem Zustand. Die Garage ist sehr gross und bietet Platz für zwei Autos. Sämtliche Zimmer verfügen über ein eigenes Bad. Praktisch ist die grosse und moderne Waschküche. Auch die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Geschirr und Besteck sind ausreichend vorhanden. Der Pool war angenehm warm, und im Aussenbereich gibt es genügend Liegeplätze. Die Aussicht ist grandios - man hat einen direkten Blick auf den Hafen. Eine Bushaltestelle befindet sich ebenfalls unmittelbar vor dem Haus, sodass man das Auto auch mal stehen lassen kann.

The Grandview Villa was exactly what we were looking for. The location was perfect and the view over Funchal was stunning. Antonio was very helpful with any queries we had during the week and was there to say goodbye when we left.

Wir waren zu sechst für eine Woche in der Unterkunft und es war der Hammer. Dieser Ausblick auf die Stadt ist unvergesslich. Die Lage super, auch wenn man ohne Auto ins Zentrum will ist das super einfach. Um die Ecke ist eine Haltestelle und mit dem Taxi hochfahren ist bei so vielen Leuten auch günstig. Im Haus ist an alles gedacht worden. Wir würden immer wieder gerne noch Mal kommen. :)
The view, the luxury and the pool
This is a fantastic property and one we would strongly
recommend. There is absolutely everything you could possibly want
in the villa. We were a three-generation group of 10 (two kids and
two babies) and there was nothing we wanted for. The BBQ area and
pool were particularly popular with everybody!
The location is excellent for access to all the island and
city-centre, especially if you have a car. And if you don't there
is a busy taxi-rank just 150m away. There is a small supermarket
and a lovely bakery very nearby that cover all the
basics.
Overall, the best Air BnB we have ever stayed in.
Very nice spot overseeing the harbour from the hills. Great house with complete setup inkl. loading bay for electric vehicles! We really liked the condition of the house, the spacious living room which had enough space for 8 adults. Exceptionell.
Our host Norberta was great, very responsive and supportive. Cleaning lady was coming once a week. Villa is located perfectly about 1,5km from city Center 25 minutes downhill. Wonderfull views! Place is brand new and very comfortable!

Absolutely stunning villa with an unbelievable view. Some people might be discouraged by the literal mountain you have to climb to get there from town but with a taxi rank right next door and no shortage of taxis in town this shouldn'tbe an issue. A rep met us on our 1st day and gave us a rundown which was super helpful and they gave us their number so we could let them know if we needed anything. Each bedroom has an ensuite which was perfect since there were 5 of us. Also the kitchen was fully kitted out with anything you might need for a longer stay inc. blender, coffee machine etc. 10/10 would stay again.
