Description
It is difficult to convey fully the wonderful features and attention to details of this superb 4-bedroom luxury villa set above the town of Funchal and with spectacular views of the sea.
Examples abound; elevator to all floors, electrically adjustable cover over the barbecue area and dining table, underfloor heating set at a year-round 22ºC, camouflaged air conditioners, Smart TV’s with cable and Netflix connection and en-suites in every bedroom, a separate outdoor kitchenette for preparing anything that may affect the inside of the house, swimming pool shower with hot water… and too many others to list.
The spacious open plan living area is set on the 2nd floor, and floor to ceiling picture windows open to a very large front terrace with outdoor furniture, perfect for appreciating those awesome views over Funchal and the sea – possibly the best place to see the New Years’ Eve fireworks. To the rear is the laundry and the additional outdoor kitchenette.
The pool deck and long swimming pool (heating optional) is set to the side and includes a barbecue area with covered built-in barbecue and outdoor dining facilities.
Three of the four bedrooms are located on the first floor and share a front balcony; in the bedroom corridor is the drop-down single bed for the 9th person. The fourth bedroom is on the 2nd floor and opens via sliding picture windows to the large front terrace. All bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms, air conditioning, sea-view, Smart TV’s with cable and connection to Netflix, and underfloor heating set to 22ºC.
A large double garage and the entrance hall can be found on the ground floor.

the time the heating is turned on.

Funchal centre and harbour is only 2,2Km downhill. There is a
regular bus service, and the bus stop is just a few metres from the
house.
Cleaning
Cleaning and linen change is provided every 7 days.
All linen and towels are provided, including towels for the
swimming pool.
For health reasons, linen for a baby cot is not provided and you
should bring your own.

The advertised prices are based on a 4-person occupancy and a per person supplement applies should anyone join you for any length of time.

Final details for check-in and driving instructions to the property will be sent 7 days prior to arrival. A contact number will be provided, and to be able to access the property, you need to phone this number as you are leaving the airport. It is your responsibility to contact and advise the number provided on the check-in details to advise any delays to the expected check-in time.
Check-in times - at the property - are between 16H00 and 19H00. For Sunday arrivals and out of hours check-in, alternative arrangements will be made and an additional cost will apply.
Check-in and check-out flexibility will be applied where possible, but this will depend on housekeeping schedules and the departure and arrival days of other reservations either side of your stay; a definitive answer can only be provided within 24 hours of your arrival for check-in and your departure for check-out.

The Grandview Villa was exactly what we were looking for. The location was perfect and the view over Funchal was stunning. Antonio was very helpful with any queries we had during the week and was there to say goodbye when we left.

Wir waren zu sechst für eine Woche in der Unterkunft und es war der Hammer. Dieser Ausblick auf die Stadt ist unvergesslich. Die Lage super, auch wenn man ohne Auto ins Zentrum will ist das super einfach. Um die Ecke ist eine Haltestelle und mit dem Taxi hochfahren ist bei so vielen Leuten auch günstig. Im Haus ist an alles gedacht worden. Wir würden immer wieder gerne noch Mal kommen. :)
The view, the luxury and the pool
This is a fantastic property and one we would strongly
recommend. There is absolutely everything you could possibly want
in the villa. We were a three-generation group of 10 (two kids and
two babies) and there was nothing we wanted for. The BBQ area and
pool were particularly popular with everybody!
The location is excellent for access to all the island and
city-centre, especially if you have a car. And if you don't there
is a busy taxi-rank just 150m away. There is a small supermarket
and a lovely bakery very nearby that cover all the
basics.
Overall, the best Air BnB we have ever stayed in.
Very nice spot overseeing the harbour from the hills. Great house with complete setup inkl. loading bay for electric vehicles! We really liked the condition of the house, the spacious living room which had enough space for 8 adults. Exceptionell.
Our host Norberta was great, very responsive and supportive. Cleaning lady was coming once a week. Villa is located perfectly about 1,5km from city Center 25 minutes downhill. Wonderfull views! Place is brand new and very comfortable!

Absolutely stunning villa with an unbelievable view. Some people might be discouraged by the literal mountain you have to climb to get there from town but with a taxi rank right next door and no shortage of taxis in town this shouldn'tbe an issue. A rep met us on our 1st day and gave us a rundown which was super helpful and they gave us their number so we could let them know if we needed anything. Each bedroom has an ensuite which was perfect since there were 5 of us. Also the kitchen was fully kitted out with anything you might need for a longer stay inc. blender, coffee machine etc. 10/10 would stay again.
Beautifull Villa in a superb location with amazing views. Everything was immaculate and clean. Communication with the host was very good. We would definitely reccomend this villa to everyone

Modern, clean and comfortable villa. Lots of small touches made for a home from home experience. Recommend hire of a car to get around as the villa is a little outside of Funchal. Strong communication from the host.
