Everything is on your doorstep - restaurants, bars, beach,
supermarket and banks, making this one of the very few villas in
Madeira that offer both a wide set of facilities and

Close by is the smaller Monumental Shopping Centre and just
further along the main road, approximately a 15 minute walk, is the
larger Madeira Forum Shopping Centre, where apart from the shops,
you have plenty of fast food restaurants and an 8 screen
cinema (films in English with Portuguese subtitles).
The walk to the old town centre is only 20 minutes, where you have more shopping, a theatre, cathedral, market and marina.
Car hire is always useful to get out and about to see the sights of the island, however if your intention is to laze around the pool and spend your days in town, it is not necessary.
