The spacious and air-conditioned twin bedroom at the end of the corridor offers 2 single beds (0,90 x 2,00m) that can be configured as doubles upon request. There is also a private balcony with sea view for guests to use. There third spacious, air-conditioned twin bedroom on the left side hand with 2 single beds (0,90 x 2,00 m) that can also be configured as doubles upon request. Please note this has to be specifically requested previously, at least two weeks prior to your arrival, to be able to be confimed. They both share a lovely family bathroom with bathtub, walk in shower, toilet, washbasin and Rituals amenities. Free parking is available on site in specified shared parking spaces. These are available on a first come first serve basis. 6001 is perfect apartment in Funchal for a luxury, tranquil, getaway by the sea amongst many facilities.

Public transport is plentiful. The bus stop is only 200m away.  Taxis are very reasonable, and the nearest rank is only 200 m away.
Located in a prime area with superb views over the Atlantic. Within a short walking distance of 6001 apartment you will find a series of cafés and restaurants, pharmacies and banks. A branded supermarket is across the street, in the Forum Shopping Centre.
The beach complex of Ponta Gorda Lido with direct access to the sea and natural swimming pool can be found a 400m walk away.
Funchal centre is also a mere 3Km away.
The airport is a 23Km drive.

Cleaning
The property is prepared for your arrival. For stays of longer than 7 nights, a change of linen and towels, and light mid-stay cleaning of bathrooms is provided on a day and time to be advised at check-in.
All linen and towels are provided.
For health reasons, linen for a baby cot is not provided and you should bring your own.
Guests need to vacate the villa during a mid-stay clean and change of linen.

To secure your reservation we require a non-refundable deposit or the full amount if the reservation is made within 8 weeks prior to arrival. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival.

A security deposit of 300€ is required by credit card prior to check-in.

The payment of a Tourist Tax has been implemented across all of Madeira and Porto Santo by the local Municipalities. This applies to all visitors to Madeira aged 13 or over, and costs 2€ per person per day up to a maximum of 14€ per person. Your accommodation is legally responsible for collecting these amounts and paying them on your behalf to the applicable municipality. The Municipality Tourist Tax will be collected via credit card on the online check-in procedure.

Final details for check-in and driving instructions to the property will be sent 7 days prior to arrival and after you have paid your balance. A contact number will be provided, and to be able to access the property, you need to phone this number as you are leaving the airport so that a personal check-in may be provided. It is your responsibility to contact and advise the number provided on the check-in details to advise any delays to the expected check-in time.

For out of office hours check-ins, alternative arrangements will be made, and an additional cost of 42€ will apply for the keys to be handed over. As the arrival airport procedures and pick-up of hire cars may take time, this will apply on weekdays for all flights arriving after 15H30, and any time on Sundays and holiday dates in Madeira. This will be charged by credit card prior to your arrival.

Check-in and check-out flexibility will be applied where possible, but this will depend on housekeeping schedules and the departure and arrival days of other reservations either side of your stay; a definitive answer can only be provided within 24 hours of your arrival for check-in and your departure for check-out.

    The property was very spacious and had a great view. Stores were within walking distance. Security was great as the security guard was always alert and on duty. The pool was clean and lots of space.
