Being located on a steep historic street, the apartment is not
suited for anyone with mobility difficulties.

shopping centre, and opposite are bus stops for all bus routes to
other areas of Madeira.
Taxis are very reasonable, and the nearest rank is only 200 m

The apartment is located in the historic area of São Pedro,
and set within narrow steep traditional streets.
The La Vie Shopping centre with many shops and a large branded
supermarket is only 350 m away.
There are plenty of cafés and restaurants in the surrounding and
only 200 meters walking distance is the pedestrian area of Rua da
Carreira where you can find many cafés, restaurants,
bars and shops.
Vintage Garden Apartment provides easy walking access to the whole
of Funchal downtown and its many points of interest. The Municipal
Gardens are only 300 m away, and the park Santa Catarina and
Funchal marina and seafront a 600 m walk.

Interlocuteurs très réactifs et agréables. Appartement extrêmement bien situé pour aller à pied au centre ville. Joli appartement et cour intérieure appréciable. Un peu bruyant certaines nuits en raison du voisinage (voisins qui laissent aboyer leur chien, sortent les containers à poubelle ou discutent sur les terrasses durant la nuit). Nous avons néanmoins passé un très bon séjour.
L'appartamento più bello e funzionale in cui abbiamo mai soggiornato. Spazioso, luminoso, dotato di ogni confort: c'era anche il tappetino per fare yoga ed una cassa bluetooth per ascoltare la musica. Nuovissimo: cucina dotata di tutto quello che serve, anche la lavastoviglie. Mobilio di pregio, anche l'arredamento esterno. Il patio esterno è delizioso. La zona è appena fuori dal centro, comodissimo da raggiungere a piedi. L'appartamento si trova alla fine di una via chiusa ed in salita. Zona silenziosa e tranquilla. Avevamo la macchina a noleggio ed il parcheggio era nella via soprastante (attenzione: i parcheggi sono tutti a pagamento, circa 60 cent./ora, ma c'è il limite importo massimo di 4 ore, non c'è una tariffa giornaliera, quindi se si lascia la macchina posteggiata per l'intera giornata bisogna ricordarsi la scadenza del ticket). Centro commerciale a 350 metri, ristoranti nelle vicinanze (noi che cerchiamo sempre quelli più tipici e non turistici, abbiamo adorato il "Londres"). L'host è stato perfetto nel comunicare le modalità di ingresso alla casa ed anche le indicazioni per arrivarvi. Davvero perfetto.
