A beautiful hotel, really clean, nice staff, who fulfills every wish and likes to joke. The food is the best we found in Funchal. The value for money is unbeatable. The connection to the bus is extremely good. The gardens and sleds are reachable by cable car or on foot. In the evening, it is pleasantly quiet around the hotel.

Não deixem que o caminho até ao alojamento vos assuste. De todos os hotéis em que já estivemos, este superou todos. A simpatia e dedicação dos funcionários faz-nos não querer sair desta acomodação, e o pequeno almoço é realmente excelente! Quando voltarmos à Madeira, queremos voltar ao babosas Village!

Sehr schöne Lage über Funchal. Nur über sehr steile Strassen erreichbar. Toller Blick von der Terrasse. Räumlichkeiten (lediglich 9 Zimmer im Hotel) sehr sauber und schön. Tolles Essen, toller Service, aber am beeindruckendsten war die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des gesamten Personals! Wirklich ungewöhnlich!

Das liebevoll frisch zubereitete Frühstück mit feinen Köstlichkeiten auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf den Atlantik war eine fantastische Einstimmung auf einen wunderbaren Urlaubstag. Auch am Abend wurde man herzlich und zuvorkommend mit feinen Speisen verwöhnt und konnte den Tag in den bequemen Korbsesseln ausklingen lassen bei einem Gläschen Madeira...
Foi sem dúvida o lugar onde fomos melhor recebidos de sempre. O espaço era agradavél, calmo, muito limpo, com excelente gosto, mas a simpatia e disponibilidade dos colaboradores foi a cereja no topo do bolo, sentimos que faziamos parte da família. Os quartos são muito limpos, espaçosos, luminosos e com todas as comodidades necessárias. O restaurante é excelente, tanto para o pequeno-almoço como para almoços e jantares.
Si vous venez à Madere n'hésitez pas à réserver dans ce charmant établissement, il a été au dessus de mes espérances, un personnel incroyablement gentil et au soin, la chambre ( appartement) était parfaite, nous espérons avoir été des clients à la hauteur de leur accueil.
Um dos melhores pequenos almoços que já comemos. Todos os funcionários eram extremamente simpáticos e atenciosos. No dia da nossa chegada devido às restrições e a uma alteração no voo não tínhamos onde jantar, falamos antecipadamente com o hotel e fizeram o favor de nos deixar uma maravilhosa mesa posta no quarto com o jantar. Numa das outras noites o restaurante abriu de propósito só para jantarmos (a comida estava incrível). E no dia da partida como o voo era muito cedo e não conseguíamos tomar o pequeno almoço ainda nos foram deixar um saco ao final do dia com um género de piquenique para tomarmos o pequeno almoço de manhã. Adorámos e vamos com certeza voltar.
Das beste Frühstück was ich je in einem Hotel hatte. Frisch, abwechslungsreich und toll abgerichtet. Ich war aus Bequemlichkeit auch am ersten Abend dort essen - und war so begeistert, dass ich beinahe jeden Abend meiner zwei Wochen wieder her kam. Absolut spitze!

One of the best hotels i've ever been!! You feel really nourished, wanting to come back at the end of a beautiful and tiring day visiting all the places... I really hope to come back.
Abseits des Trubels, dennoch gut angebunden. Personal sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Es blieben keine Wünsche offen. Wirklich gutes Frühstück. Das Beste bisher. Auch sonst gute Küche. W-Lan ohne Gebühr.
Desde da recepção, limpeza, pequenos almoços, foi tudo excepcional. Irei com toda a certeza recomendar a amigos e familiares.

Tolles hotel, familiär geführt mit sehr freundlichem personal. Das reichhaltige frühstück auf der terrasse mit herrlichem blick hinunter auf funchal und das meer ein traum. Ideale lage direkt neben gondelbahn station nach funchal. Auch bus station direkt vor dem hotel. Ruhige lage. Babosas Village ist ein geheimtipp, ich würde jederzeit wieder in diesem hotel buchen.

Die Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen in jeglicher Hinsicht übertroffen. Das Hotel ist sehr gepflegt, das Zimmer ist ausgesprochen geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend - wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder dort Urlaub machen. Das Frühstück konnten wir jeden Morgen auf der tollen Terrasse genießen - es hat ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Auch das Essen im Restaurant war hervorragend. Vielen Dank an Ricardo und Sonia sowie das ganze Team.
We spent a week at this place couple of weeks ago and couldn't be more satisfied! The location of this place is great - it offers amazing view over the city from the restaurant terrace, it is calm in the evening, very close to tropical garden or carreiros do Monte and if you plan to visit some levadas or mountains in the centre of the island it is quite close by car and also by bus. On top of that, staff was really friendly and helpful - they also helped us with car rental, we just agreed on days and had a car ready in front of the hotel in the morning and on the day of return we just handed the keys to the hotel staff during breakfast - super convenient. We even received couple of useful information by email before our stay which was a nice touch. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic as well,very tasty and everyday we even received something extra (porridge, pancakes, cake etc.). We even received some packed breakfast to our room on our last day as we were leaving earlier in the morning. Generally speaking, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone planing on visiting Madeira. We felt taken care of from the minute we arrived. Thank you!

The breakfast and also the other food in the hotel restaurant are absolutely fantastic. In addition, there is the fantastic view from the restaurant terrace towards the sea. The rooms are very well maintained and I slept as comfortably as at home. Last but not least, all hotel employees were very friendly and courteous. I'd love to come back again!
Super Zimmer, tolle Lage....megaaa Frühstück mit frischem Obst, hausgemachter Marmelade, hausgemachtem Kuchen, Brot, Joghurt.....super Kaffee....alles TOP!!! Nur zu empfehlen! Sehr freundliches Personal....mega!
Fantastic accomodation, good bed and with an amazing view. Great hospitality and more than friendly staff. The breakfast was different every morning with delicious food, fresh juice, good coffee and even champagne on Sunday. We stayed here for a week and we didn't want to go home. If we ever go back to Madeira there is no doubt which hotel we will book.
Wir können die Unterkunft vor allem wegen des wirklich sehr freundlichen Personals empfehlen. Wir hatten ein kleines DZ, welches wirklich ein wenig klein, aber sehr schön war. Zur Begrüßung gabs auf dem Zimmer einen Obstkorb, Madeirawein, Wasser, kleine Kuchen und Honig. Top! Frühstück wurde an dem Platz gebracht und bestand aus Obst , Schinken, Käse, Joghurt und Marmelade, Brötchen /Toast, Kaffee nach Wunsch, Eierspeisen kosten Aufpreis. Wer dort nächtigt, sollte abends auf jeden Fall dort essen. Die Speisen sind sehr lecker und toll angerichtet. Großes Lob auch nochmal an das Personal. Alle waren wirklich super nett. Man muss sich im Klaren sein, dass das Hotel in Monte liegt, man also mit dem Mietwagen immer wieder die engen Straßen hoch muss.

Incredibly kind and helpful staff, beautiful view, amazing breakfast and food, champagne for the first morning and champagne on Sundays :) Simply loved everything, hope one day we can return and enjoy that amazing place again.
exceptional service- hugo and sonia and all the team deliver first class service and first class food. Coupled with the fantastic facilities and spectacular location, this is instantly up there as one of my favourite hotels, even compared to 200 a night establishments....
