Room service was extremely attentive. They even put my shopping around nicely in the kitchen and put away my plates which I washed but left to dry. Every day everything was tiptop again. A bottle of Madeira wine as a welcome gift was also there. I have nothing to complain about!

Very nice and cozy hotel, near the palace gardens, easy to reach via cable car. also the restaurant is very good. i will come back at my next stay..

The breakfast was absolutely incredible. Worth staying just to tuck into that! The staff were beyond incredible and went above and beyond at every opportunity. Right next to the Palace which is lovely but also only a 35 min drive to pico Arieiro which was ideal for sunrise. The rooms were nice but nothing special.

Au niveau d'un hôtel 4 étoiles. Le personnel est très serviable, accueillant et sympathique. L'hôtel est calme et agréable, avec une très jolie vue sur Funchal. Petit déjeuner délicieux et copieux.

O pequeno almoço é divinal, os empregados do restaurante são todos de extrema simpatia. Por duas vezes jantámos no restaurante do alojamento e as refeições foram muito boas, melhor ainda com a fantástica vista da varanda do hotel. O alojamento é mesmo ao lado do Teleférico do Monte que nos leva diretamente ao Funchal (pena ser caro e encerrar às 17h).

LOVED IT. Best accomodation Ive ever been in my life. Seriously. In few words - we loved almost everything. The personel - Antonio, Ricardo, Andree and others... so nice people. Food was delicious, one of the best meals we ever ate (and well, we tried like 20 of them!), and the breakfast is served for kings and queens. Rooms were clean, with air conditioning, huge space, kitchen ready to cook, fridge clean and spacious. We literally didnt need anything extra. Room service on demand - anytime u ask. Welcome drink - Madeira wine and fruits ofc. Breakfast considered of bread, ham, cheese, any style of eggs u like, jams, honey, milk, cofee, cakes, fresh fruits and vegetables, oathmeals, yoghurt, fresh made juice... Praise the cheffs there really! And the most pricey food was 15euroes, and the portions are HUGE for a 75kg person. We will never forget Babosas!

Staff who work in this hotel is the strongest point. Yes, room was super nice, but the stuff made us feel like we are in family home. Myself and my friend never experienced such a thing in a hotel. I would love to come back to your hotel. Food was beautiful.

Everything was great from breakfast to bed. Perfect stay and we really enjoyed. Nice and big rooms which were very clean and had all comfort that was required for a great holiday. The staff was brilliant, thank you Hugo, André, Antonio and Sonja for the great service and kindness. The breakfast is amazing, fresh, good and plenty. The available restaurant has great dishes as Well. Would certainly recommend village Babossa!

Tout était parfait: chambres très grandes, de petits appartements en fait, très bien équipées et d'une propreté irréprochable. Le personnel d'une extrême gentillesse, à la fois prévenants et efficaces. Le petit déjeuner gargantuesque pour un prix défiant toute concurrence. Le restaurant où nous avons dîné tous les soirs, vraiment excellent. Situé près des jardins botaniques de Funchal, l'endroit est très calme et propice au repos après une journée de rando. Rapport qualité /prix incroyable !

Sehr gutes Frühstück bei wunderbarem Ausblick. Freundliches Personal und was wir besonders geschätzt haben war die Möglichkeit abends im Restaurant essen zu können, wenn wir tagsüber unterwegs und dann ggf abends im Hotel waren. Das Studio war sehr sauber, gemütlich eingerichtet und hatte alles, was man für einen gelungenen Urlaub benötigt!! Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt (7 Tage!) dort sehr genossen und können das Hotel wärmstens empfehlen!!

Comfortable sleep, (no noise disturbing, good ventilation, comfortable beds), clean, modern interior, good restaurant, nice and helpful staff, nice ocean view (standard apartment), private parking, bus stop next to main entrance. One of the best value for money I have ever met.

Tolles Frühstück, mit viel Obst und unterschiedlichen Kuchen oder Crepe. Sehr freundliches Personal, unaufdringlich aber sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Unseren Wünschen wurde sofort nachgekommen.

Das Hotel befindet sich in Monte direkt beim Botanischen Garten. Mit der Gondel kann man nach Funchal fahren. Alternativ bietet sich der Bus an, der direkt vor dem Hotel abfährt. Für Fahrzeuge stehen ausreichend Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Absolut super ist das Restaurant sowie das Frühstück. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen und ist so üppig und abwechslungsreich wie wir es sonst auf Madeira nicht erlebt haben. Das Hotel ist ein absoluter Tipp.

The property is beautifully presented. We loved the location as we were able to drive around the island easily and enjoy the views away from the crowds. However, some visitors might find the drive up to Monte and Barbados Village a bit daunting. The food in the restaurant was excellent and very varied.

Excellent breakfast, fresh bread, eggs after your choice, fruits and yogurt. Staff is none plus ultra, so great service. Placement of hotel is stunning, with a great view over Funchal and surrounding.

What a wonderful surprise! Babosas Village is a marvellous place to stay. And the breakfast was fantastic.

Loved the location, high above Funchal. Apartments very comfortable, modern and clean. Staff were brilliant - very helpful and always smiling. An extensive menu of well cooked food meant that we ate in the restaurant most nights. Hired a car which made exploring the island very easy once we were used to the steep country roads.

En otroligt mysigt hotell med ett perfekt läge och underbar utsikt från resturangen. God frukost med nypressad jucie, gott bröd och mycket frukt. Personal var trevlig och gjorde det lilla extra för oss varje dag.
