Description

Beautifully located in a tranquil and private location above the arc of sunny Calheta, the air-conditioned This Side of Paradise has breath-taking views over the countryside and ocean and many additional premium features that make it a great holiday villa in Madeira.

The three bedrooms, spacious open plan living area and kitchen, and pool deck and sun terrace are all set over one floor, useful for those with restricted mobility. Fully air-conditioned, PlayStation 5 and Apple TV (guests require their own accounts), Marshall Bluetooth speakers, SMEG appliances and a swimming pool with electric cover are some of the special features of this villa.

The front terrace features varied and premium outdoor seating and dining around the pool and sun-beds, and an interior barbecue room with built-in barbecue and sink, making it the perfect place for socialising and enjoy outdoor dining or a drink whilst appreciating those panoramic views. Enjoy a little of what paradise has to offer in Madeira.

Close by, within walking distance is a restaurant and bar on a great viewpoint. In the village of Arco da Calheta is a mini-market, a couple of cafés and a snack-bar, and a country bakery. On the outskirts you can find a further selection of country restaurants and snack-bars.

To secure your reservation we require a 30% deposit and the balance is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival.
Final details for check-in and driving instructions to the property will be sent 7 days prior to arrival. A contact number will be provided, and to be able to access the property, you need to phone this number as you are leaving the airport. It is your responsibility to contact and advise the number provided on the check-in details to advise any delays to the expected check-in time.
Check-in times - at the property - are between 16H00 and 19H00. For Sunday arrivals and out of hours check-in, alternative arrangements will be made and an additional cost will apply.

Check-in and check-out flexibility will be applied where possible, but this will depend on housekeeping schedules and the departure and arrival days of other reservations either side of your stay; a definitive answer can only be provided within 24 hours of your arrival for check-in and your departure for check-out.
