Description

With a wonderful full front terrace next to the sun trap swimming pool deck, from where you can appreciate those lovely sunrises and sunsets, the lovely Hasta La Vista in Calheta has a great barbecue room and social area for those evening get togethers,. Located within walking distance of facilities and the village centre of Arco da Calheta, it offers lovely views of the surrounding overhanging countryside and sea. The covered swimming pool is great for year-round swimming, warm in the cooler months and protected from breezes in the warmer months when the sliding doors turn it into an indoor/outdoor pool.

Set higher and accessed by stairs from the parking area, it features 3 bedrooms, open plan living area, kitchen, covered swimming pool (optionally heated), dining and barbecue room, and laundry, all on the ground floor.

Hasta La Vista Villa is the perfect choice for families or couples, with great features in Calheta in a tranquil area, yet within easy access of facilities and other areas of Madeira.

The nearest facilities (cafés and mini market) are only between 300 and 600m away. Calheta, with its man made golden beach, Marina, branded supermarket and greater selection of restaurants is only 3.5 Km away

Pool heating can be provided and should be requested at least one week in advance. Should it be requested after arrival at the villa, the minimum charge applicable is one week, which is payable from the time the heating is turned on.

Cleaning and linen change is provided every 7 days.
All linen and towels are provided, including towels for the swimming pool.
For health reasons, line for a baby cot is not provided and you should bring your own.

Arco da Calheta is known for its sunny and warm year-round climate.
The nearest mini-market is 600 meters away, next to the pharmacy and two cafés/snack-bars.
The Village center of Arco da Calheta is only 1.1 km away. Here you find a café with lovely esplanade viewpoint and a snack bar (as well as the church).
From Arco da Calheta you have great access to the mountains for both sightseeing (Madeira is breathtakingly beautiful) and walking (which has become extremely popular along the levadas or for hiking).

    Check-in times - at the property - are between 16H00 and 19H00. For Sunday arrivals and out of hours check-in, alternative arrangements will be made and an additional cost will apply. 

    Check-in and check-out flexibility will be applied where possible, but this will depend on housekeeping schedules and the departure and arrival days of other reservations either side of your stay; a definitive answer can only be provided within 24 hours of your arrival for check-in and your departure for check-out.

    Myself and my family really enjoyed our stay here. The villa is gorgeous and has beautiful views overlooking the mountains and the ocean. You would need a car to stay here as there's not an awful lot in walking distance but the town is less than a 10 minute drive away and has a large supermarket and lots of lovely restaurants. The villa itself is wonderful, we appreciated the private swimming pool which is covered so it is warm even in November! The host is very responsive and was very helpful with any issues we had during our stay. We had an issue with no hot water for half of our stay but the host was helpful in trying to rectify the issue and in later organising compensation for this. Overall a great stay, I was sad to leave!

    Wir waren absolut begeistert von der der Villa. Der Pool und die Terasse waren einfach super und schön groß. Ab 8.30 Uhr morgens hatte man bereits Sonne auf der Terasse. Besonders toll war auch die große, sehr gut ausgestattete Küche - hier hatten wir einfach Platz um Ordnung zu halten und zu kochen. Viele Möbel schienen sehr neu zu sein und alles war super gepflegt. Die Villa selbst liegt direkt an einer Straße, die zumindest morgens und nachmittags etwas stärker befahren ist aber man gewöhnt sich schnell dran. Zu Fuß kann man von dort aus auch schon wandern gehen. Auch kleine Bars sind zu Fuß erreichbar und nicht touristisch ausgelegt, was wir toll fanden. Ansonsten empfiehlt sich generell auf jeden Fall ein Auto, da die Villa sehr weit oben auf dem Berg ist. Für das Auto gibt es eine super Garage. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

    Nous avons passé un excellent séjour avec nos deux jeunes enfants. la piscine couverte est vraiment un plus car cela permet de sécuriser la piscine pour les enfants et cela garde l'eau à une température très agréable. les enfants se sont baignés tous les jours. la situation est vraiment idéale pour découvrir toute l'île de madère et le garage très spacieux permets de ranger deux voitures sans problème. l'hôte à été super pour notre arrivée ( tard le soir) et ils avaient même prévu de quoi déjeuner le matin, une super attention. la villa est vraiment comme décrite dans l'annonce et il n' y aucune mauvaise surprise. l'espace avec la cuisine d'été est vraiment un plus aussi et permet d'être à l'abri du vent selon son orientation. je recommande cette villa et nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir.
