Pool heating can be provided and should be requested at least one week in advance. Should it be requested after arrival at the villa, the minimum charge applicable is one week, which is payable from the time the heating is turned on.
Secure parking facilities for 2 cars. A hire car is essential and we would recommend small to medium cars due to the narrow access road.

The village center of Loreto is only 3 km away. Here you will find a couple of cafés with lovely esplanades, a bank, as well as the Loreto church.
From Loreto you have great access to the mountains for both sightseeing (Madeira is breathtakingly beautiful) and walking (which has become extremely popular along the levadas or for hiking).
The resort of Calheta is, with its man-made golden beach, branded supermarket and marina from where there is a selection of sea tours and activities, and a greater variety of eating places, is only 6 kms away.
The advertised prices are based on a 4-person occupancy and supplements apply should anyone join you for any length of time.
To secure your reservation we require a non-refundable deposit or the full amount if the reservation is made within 8 weeks prior to arrival. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival.
A security deposit of 300€ is required on arrival, payable in cash.
The minimum stay is 07 nights.
Final details for check-in and driving instructions will be sent once you have paid your balance. You will be met at the villa on arrival and shown around (alternative arrnagements will be made for out of hours arrival).

Final details for check-in and driving instructions to the property will be sent 7 days prior to arrival. A contact number will be provided, and to be able to access the property, you need to phone this number as you are leaving the airport. It is your responsibility to contact and advise the number provided on the check-in details to advise any delays to the expected check-in time.
Check-in times - at the property - are between 16H00 and 19H00. For Sunday arrivals and out of hours check-in, alternative arrangements will be made and an additional cost will apply.
Check-in and check-out flexibility will be applied where possible, but this will depend on housekeeping schedules and the departure and arrival days of other reservations either side of your stay; a definitive answer can only be provided within 24 hours of your arrival for check-in and your departure for check-out.

The villa is great! Really sparse outside, with three
levels of patios (2nd floor, main, down at the pool), enough
private space inside and featuring an _amazing_ view. Nice isolated
living room, a dining room + kitchen, three proper bedrooms (with
one being a larger master). Good internet, we didn't have any
problems with it after they added an extender.
It's somewhat distant from the city, but for us this was a plus since we wanted a quieter area. Still just about 35 minutes drive to Funchal. But also just 15 minutes drive from Fanal forest with amazing hikes! And same 15 minutes to the ocean and there're some lively areas to both west and east.
The pool is not huge, but pretty large for a quick swim middle of the day, although the weather during our stay wasn't really encouraging water activities :)
Finally, our hosts were very accommodating and helped us with whatever we needed - wifi extenders, extra sunbeds.
Overall, much recommended. Very happy we found this place.
