<p>If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment,
please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old
and less easy roads and unusual locations:</p>
<ul>
<li>Leaving the airport, take the motorway (Via Rápida) West in
the direction of Funchal and after this to Ribeira
Brava.&nbsp;Travel for 34. Km.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>When you reach the end of the motorway (approximately 35
minutes) keep on the right hand lane and follow the signs to
Ribeira Brava - Ponta do Sol.<br />

<li>The slip road will lead you to a roundabout. Take the first
exit to Ribeira Brava and drive towards the sea for 1.4 km. You
will reach another roundabout. Take the 1st exit into the tunnel,
and you will now carry on for 3.9 km until you reach the roundabout
of Ponta do Sol.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>At the end of the tunnel, you will reach another roundabout;
take the 2nd&nbsp;exit, signposted Ponta do Sol and drive through
another tunnel. At the end, carry on along the coastal road, and
you will enter another tunnel.&nbsp;At the end, carry on along the

<ul>
<li>At the end of this tunnel, you will come to the roundabout of
Ponta do Sol; on the left, you will find a petrol station and a
mini market. Take the 2nd exit into the next tunnel and drive for
2.8 km.<br />

<li>At the end of the tunnel, at the roundabout, turn sharply right
into the next tunnel (signposted Calheta).<br />
</li>
<li>At the roundabout (1.6 km), take the first turn-off, signposted
to Calheta, and drive through the next tunnel for 1.8 km.</li>

<li>Reaching the next roundabout, take the first exit following
signs to Arco da Calheta and drive up 100metres until you reach
another roundabout.&nbsp;</li>

<p>At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit and continue along this
winding downhill road for approximately 900 metres. On your left,
you will find a narrow road with a sign "Sítio da Fajã". Turn
left onto the road.</p>

<li>After the first curve to the left, you will pass two new houses
on the right. Just next to these is a pedestrian entrance followed
by a recessed car parking bay. Park your car just beyond the
bay.<br />

<li>Walk into the pedestrian access down the ramp, at the bottom
turn right and walk to the end, where you will find a green door
with the nameplate "Quinta do Sossego". This is the main entrance
gate.&nbsp;</li>
