<p>If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment,
please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old
and less easy roads and unusual locations:</p>
<ul>
<li>Leaving the airport take the motorway (Via Rápida) West in the
direction of Funchal and after this to Ribeira Brava.&nbsp;Travel
for 34. Km.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>When you reach the end of the motorway (approximately 35
minutes) keep on the right hand lane and follow the signs to
Ribeira Brava - Ponta do Sol.</li>
<li>The slip road will lead you to a roundabout. Take the first
exit to Ribeira Brava and drive towards the sea for 1,4Km. You will
reach another roundabout. Take the 1st&nbsp;exit into the tunnel
and you will now carry on for 3,9Km until you reach the roundabout
of Ponta do Sol.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>At the end of the tunnel you will reach another roundabout;
take the 2nd&nbsp;exit , signposted Ponta do Sol and drive through
another tunnel. At the end, carry on along the coastal road and you
will enter another tunnel.&nbsp;At the end, carry on along the

<ul>
<li>At the end of this tunnel you will come to the roundabout of
Ponta do Sol; on the left you will find a petrol station and mini
market. Take the 2nd exit into the next tunnel and drive for
2,8Km.</li>
<li>At the end of the tunnel, at the roundabout, turn sharp right
into the next tunnel (signposted Calheta).</li>
<li>At the roundabout (1,6Km), take the first turn-off, signposted
to Calheta, drive through the next tunnel for 1,8Km.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>At the roundabout, take the third exit signposted "Estrela" and
"Rabaçal". Keep driving on this road for 500m until you reach
Restaurant Convento das Vinhas. Here, turn right onto Caminho do
Lombo do Salão.<br />

<li>Climb another 100 metres, and on your right (before the first
house you come across) is a private driveway that climbs to your
right. Take this private driveway, and Casa do Júlio is at the top
ahead of you.</li>
