<p>If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment,
please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old
and less easy roads and unusual locations:</p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Leaving the airport, take the dual carriageway in the direction
of Funchal (road known as the Via Rápida).</p>
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Take exit number 12 marked "Funchal Campo da Barca".</li>
</ul>

<p>This exit takes you into a loop passing under the road and to a
T-junction with a set of traffic lights.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Turn left at the traffic lights indicated "Funchal C.o da Barca"
and "Funchal Pena," and after just a few meters, turn right to
"Funchal Pena" and descend a winding road.</p>

<li>At the first crossroads, approximately a further 250 metres,
turn right into Rua da Levada de Santa Luzia.</li>

<li>At the first crossroads, approximately a further 250 metres,
turn right into Rua da Levada de Santa Luzia</li>
<li>
<p>Drive along this street for approximately 500 metres, past a
turnoff on your right and, further on, a turnoff on your left,
until you reach the first crossroads. At the crossroads, you turn
left down the hill.</p>

<ul>
<li>&nbsp;Descend past a tall, dark yellow wall with a burgundy
border.</li>
<li>
<p>Shortly after the end of this wall, you will come to a cream
wall with green shutters, a little before the next crossroads.</p>

<p>On the right, you will find a green iron gate with a plaque
identifying it as No. 109A - Villa Luzia.</p>
<p>Pull over to your right and ring the bell so we can open the
gate for you to drive in.&nbsp;</p>
