<p>If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment,
please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old
and less easy roads and unusual locations:</p>
<ul>
<li>Leaving the airport, take the dual carriageway in the direction
of Funchal (road known as the Via Rápida).</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Take exit number 12 marked "Funchal Campo da Barca".</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>This exit takes you into a loop passing under the road and to a
T-junction with a set of traffic lights.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Turn left at the traffic lights, keeping to your right, and
after just a few meters, turn right to "Funchal Pena"</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>&nbsp;Instead of following the road down turn IMMEDIATELY LEFT
and head up the hill (see blue sign for Estalagem do Monte)</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Head up this steep winding road, passing the turning for
Livramento until you come to a T junction where you should turn
left, where it says "hospital" or "Monte"<br />

<li>And then after 20 metres, you will see "Rustico", a restaurant.
Turn left here onto the Caminho de Monte (toboggan run) until you
find number 88 on your left.&nbsp;<br />
