<p>If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment,
please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old
and less easy roads and unusual locations:</p>
<ul>
<li>Leaving the airport, take the dual carriageway in the direction
of Funchal (road known as the Via Rápida).</li>
<li>Leave the via rapida at exit 12, signposted Funchal/Campo da
Barca</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>This exit takes you into a loop passing under the motorway and
to a T-Junction&nbsp;with a set of traffic lights.</li>
<li>Turn left at the traffic lights and keep to the left.</li>
<li>At the next set of traffic lights, enter the tunnel and drive
down towards town.</li>
<li>Go across the next 2 sets of traffic lights, then move to the
right-hand lane and stay in that lane.<br />

<li>On the roundabout, take the first exit onto Rua 31 de Janeiro
and drive for approximately 200meters.</li>

<li>Turn left onto Rua do Carmo and keep driving until you find
number 31A.</li>
