Vista Grande - Check-in and Driving Instructions

Please print these driving instructions and have them with you when you arrive in Madeira.

If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment, please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old and less easy roads and unusual locations:

  • Leaving the airport, take the dual carriageway in the direction of Funchal (road known as the Via Rápida).

  • At approximately 10.9 km, you need to leave the motorway at junction 15, signposted to GARAJAU 

Airport Garajau  

  • Turn left towards Garajau. You will come to two roundabouts, and continue straight ahead until you reach Estrada do Garajau.

  • Continue driving for about 1km on this road until you reach a roundabout

  • On the roundabout, take the first exit and drive to the end of the ramp. Vista Grande is the house in front.
