Villa Albatroz - Check-in and Driving Instructions

Please print these driving instructions and have them with you when you arrive in Madeira.

If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment, please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old and less easy roads and unusual locations:

  • Leaving the airport, take the dual carriageway in the direction of Funchal (road known as the Via Rápida).

  • Leave the via rapida at exit 16, signposted Caniço/ Caniço de Baixo.

  • Turn left and follow the road down for approximately 1.5 kilometres.

  • You will see the Marinha do Sol Apartment block on your right. Turn right after these apartments (signposted Galo Resort Hotel, Alpino Atlântico, Inn & Art, and Villa Sol).

    Albatroz

  • Follow the road and take the first left.

  • Then take the second road on your right named "Rua Baden Powel" and immediately right again into "Rua da Falésia (dead end road & signposted Inn & Art and Alpino Atlântico Hotel).

  • Continue to the end of this road, and Villa Albatroz is the last house on your left, number 31B, before you reach the cul-de-sac.
