Aquarela - Check-in and Driving Instructions

Please print these driving instructions and have them with you when you arrive in Madeira.

If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment, please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old and less easy roads and unusual locations:

  • Leaving the airport take the dual carriageway in the direction of Funchal (road known as the Via Rápida).

  • At approximately 10.9kms you need to leave the motorway at junction 15, sign posted to GARAJAU 

Airport Garajau

  • Turn left towards Garajau, you will come to two roundabouts and continue straight ahead until you reach Estrada do Garajau.

  • Take your first road on your right side called "Rua Eugénio Brandão de Melo"

Aquarela

  • Follow this road for approximately 500 meters until you reach a crossroad.

  • Villa Aquarela is the house ahead of you, on the corner on the right side of the road (this is a dead-end road).

  • Impasse Eugénia Brandão de Melo, Lote 100.
