Seacrest - Check-in and Driving Instructions

Please print these driving instructions and have them with you when you arrive in Madeira.

If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment, please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old and less easy roads and unusual locations:

  • Leaving the airport, take the motorway (Via Rápida) in the direction of Funchal and after this, signs to Ribeira Brava.

  • When you reach the end of the motorway (approximately 25 minutes) follow the signs to Ribeira Brava - Ponta do Sol.

  • The slip road ends on a roundabout - take the 1st exit and you will be descending in the direction of the sea.

  • At the next roundabout, turn right into the tunnel, signposted Ponta do Sol.

PDS 1
  • At the end of the tunnel, you will find another roundabout -take the 2nd exit signposted to Ponta do Sol

  • You will enter another tunnel. At the end, you will reach the main Ponta do Sol roundabout. Take the 1st exit to your right, signposted to Paul da Serra and Canhas.

  • 600m further on, you come to another roundabout. Take the fourth exit (effectively turning left), signposted Paul da Serra and Canhas.

  • Keep following this road for 2.9 km, and you will reach a sign on your right reading CANHAS.

    Seacrest

  • Continue for about 40 metres and take the next turn off to the left, sharp left, and take the narrow street to the left of the fork in the road.

  • You will come to a dead-end sign and a street sign: Caminho do Lombo São Tiago.

  • Continue to the end of the street, and you will reach Seacrest on your left (a grey metal door).
