Casa Jardim Mar - Check-in and Driving Instructions

Please print these driving instructions and have them with you when you arrive in Madeira.

If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment, please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old and less easy roads and unusual locations:

  • Leaving the airport, take the motorway (Via Rápida) in the direction of Funchal and after this, signs to Ribeira Brava.

  • When you reach the end of the motorway (approximately 25 minutes), follow the signs to Ribeira Brava - Ponta do Sol.

  • The slip road ends on a roundabout - take the 1st exit and you will be descending in the direction of the sea.

  • At the next roundabout, turn right into the tunnel, signposted Ponta do Sol.

  • At the end of the tunnel, you will find another roundabout -take the 2nd exit signposted to Ponta do Sol

  • You will enter another tunnel. At the end, you will reach the main Ponta do Sol roundabout. Take the 3rd exit from the roundabout signposted Calheta, Ponta do Sol, Centro Histórico.

  • Take an immediate first right signposted to "Canhas, Paul da Serra", 600m further on, you come to another roundabout. Take the second exit signposted Paul da Serra and Canhas.
  • Keep following this road for 600m and you will reach a small straight with a large house on the right and two houses on the left.

  • Carlos will be waiting for you on the left, next to the two houses, to show you the access pathway to Casa Jardim Mar and help you with your luggage.
