Casa da Tia - Check-in and Driving Instructions

Please print these driving instructions and have them with you when you arrive in Madeira.

If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment, please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old and less easy roads and unusual locations:

  • Leaving the airport, take the dual carriageway in the direction of Machico (road known as the Via Rápida).
  • Leave the Via Rápida at exit number 25 to Machico Sul.

  • After exiting the motorway, you will reach a roundabout, take the second exit signposted CENTRO/FORUM MACHICO/PRAIAS PORTO RECREIO.

  • Drive for approximately 170m until you reach a T-Junction, turn left here onto Rua da Pontinha.
  • On Rua da Pontinha drive for 150m, until you reach another T-Junction, turn right onto Caminho da Pontinha.
  • Drive on this road until you reach number 11 & 13, you've reached Casa da Tia. 

  • You may park your car and retrieve the keys from the keybox as per the instructions sent on a separate email.
