Vintage Garden Apartment - Check-in and Driving Instructions

Please print these driving instructions and have them with you when you arrive in Madeira.

If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment, please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old and less easy roads and unusual locations:

  • Leaving the airport, take the dual carriageway in the direction of Funchal (road known as the Via Rápida).


Vintage Garden 1

  • Leave the Via Rápida at exit number 9 to Funchal/Hospital/Porto.
  • Keep driving forward until you reach a roundabout. On the roundabout, please leave the first exit onto Avenida Luís de Camões.

Vintage Garden 2

  • Keep driving for 500 metres and turn left into Rua Tenente Coronel Sarmento. Continue for approximately another 450m until you reach the T Junction with Rua do Jasmineiro, here turn left.
  • On Rua do Jasmineiro, drive until you reach the first T-junction, then turn left again. Drive for another 200 metres and Beco dos Ilhéus will be on your left.
  • Please drive with caution when approaching Beco dos Ilhéus. Make sure to take a wide turn when entering the alley, and proceed carefully, as the beco is much narrower than regular roads.
