Villa Vista Sol - Check-in and Driving Instructions

Please print these driving instructions and have them with you when you arrive in Madeira.

If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment, please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old and less easy roads and unusual locations:

  • Leaving the airport, take the dual carriageway in the direction of Funchal (road known as the Via Rápida).

  • Leave the via rapida at exit 13, signposted Boa Nova/P.Ferreiro.

Vista Sol 1

  • On the motorway exit, turn right at the T-Junction, and after 600 metres, at the roundabout, take the first exit, signposted to S. Gonçalo.

  • Drive for approximately 800 metres, and at the end of this road, turn right, onto Rua Conde Carvalhal. 

Vista Sol 2
  • Drive for another 600 metres until you reach the São Gonçalo's Church, turn left here (there is a pedestrian crossing and a bar on the corner)

Vista Sol 3

  • Immediately after, turn right, signposted Casa de Saude Camara Pestana, and then immediately left, signposted Junta Freguesia São Gonçalo, onto Rua Professor Modesto da Trindade (there is a number 8 on this road, THIS IS NOT VILLA VISTA SOL). 

  • Continue for a short distance until another T-Junction and take the first turn on your right.

  • Then, after a few more metres, take the next turning on your right into Impasse 3 Prof Modesto da Trindade.

  • Drive until the end of the road and Villa Vista Sol is the last house on your right, No. 8
