Palheiro Ocean - Check-in and Driving Instructions

Please print these driving instructions and have them with you when you arrive in Madeira.

If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment, please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old and less easy roads and unusual locations:

  • Leaving the airport, take the dual carriageway in the direction of Funchal (road known as the Via Rápida).

  • Leave the via rapida at exit 15, signposted Cancela/Garajau/Camacha.

  • After exiting the motorway, turn right onto Cancela. Keep driving up the hill until you reach a roundabout.

  • On the roundabout, take the 3rd exit signposted Cancela/Parque Industrial/Funchal.

  • After exiting the roundabout, keep driving on the same road for 1.6km until you reach Palheiro Village.

  • After entering the estate, continue driving up the hill until you reach villa 58.
