Chill Garden - Check-in and Driving Instructions

Please print these driving instructions and have them with you when you arrive in Madeira.

If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment, please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old and less easy roads and unusual locations:

  • Leaving the airport, take the dual carriageway in the direction of Funchal (road known as the Via Rápida).
  • Leave the Via Rápida at exit number 9 to Funchal/Hospital/Porto.

Chill Garden 1

  • Drive for 1,3 km further and take the exit signposted Zona Portuária/Av. do Mar.

Chill Garden 2

  • Drive for about 1,2km until you reach a roundabout. On the roundabout, leave on the 3rd exit signposted Centro/Hospital and drive until the end of the tunnel, and reach another roundabout. 

Chill Garden 3

  • At the roundabout, take the inside lane and drive up for approximately 100 meters. Then make a turn to the right to Rua da Carreira and drive for about 300 meters until you reach a junction. Chill Garden 4
  • Please park your car in the designated car park below.

    Parking Chill Garden
    Even if you don't have a car, the easiest access to Chill Garden Apartment is via the car park, as Rua do Quebra Costas 44 is a steep street.

    If you are arriving by transfer, please ask to be dropped at the car park at the top of Rua do Quebra Costas.

    ➢ Value p/ Hour - 1.13€ (60 Minutes)
    ➢ Maximum - 2.30€ (122 Minutes)
    ➢ Weekdays: 8h00 - 20h00
    ➢ Saturdays: 8h00 - 14h00
    ➢ Sundays and Holidays: Free of charge
