Babosas Village - Check-in and Driving Instructions
Please print these driving instructions and have them with you when you arrive in Madeira.
If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment, please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old and less easy roads and unusual locations:
- Take the Via Rápida (motorway) from the airport in the direction of Funchal.
- As you approach Exit 11 ("S. Roque & Monte"), keep to the
right lane and slow down. Leave the Via rapida at exit 11,
signposted "S. Roque and Monte".
- Follow the slip road round, turning first right, then at the T-junction turn left signposted "Monte". Continue for 1.6 km until you reach the roundabout and take the first right, signposted "Monte & S. Roque".

Drive up the hill and onwards for approximately 1.2 km until you reach a wide crossroad.

At this junction, go ahead into Estrada do Livramento and drive for 1.8KM until you reach another junction.
- Here, turn left up the hill to Estrada Luso Brasileira and drive until you reach another cross junction.
- On the T Junction, turn right, signposted Babosas, and drive 550m until you reach a T-junction on this road.
- When you reach this T-Junction, turn left up the hill and drive for 800 meters, and you will reach Largo das Babosas.
- After parking your car, you will find the restaurant Patéo das Babosas, and next door, you will find the entrance for Babosas Village. Please speak with a staff member; they will check you in and show you access to their private car park.
