Álamos UpTown - Check-in and Driving Instructions

Please print these driving instructions and have them with you when you arrive in Madeira.

If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment, please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old and less easy roads and unusual locations:

  • Leaving the airport, take the dual carriageway in the direction of Funchal (road known as the Via Rápida).

  • Take exit number 10, marked "Funchal/Curral das Freitas/Santo António".

  • Take exit number 10 marked "Funchal/Curral das Freitas/Santo António".

Alamos 2

  • After leaving the motorway, turn right onto Av. da Madalena and drive until you reach a roundabout.
  • At the roundabout, take the first exit towards Caminho dos Alámos, signposted 'Mercado da Penteada'/TECNOPOLO, and drive for about 350m.
  • On your left, you'll find the Solar dos Álamos building, park, and your host will be waiting for you.
